We can find different colors everywhere. In the nature, trees(树) can be green, yellow, or red. Flowers(花) can be red, yellow, purple, pink, orange, white, black or blue. In the fruit stores, we can find green apples, red strawberries, yellow bananas, purple grapes and pink peaches. In the clothes stores, you can see white T- shirts, black jackets and red sweaters. The color of the sky(天空) can be different. When you are happy, your sky is blue. When you are not happy, your sky will be gray. In the world, there are the yellow race(黄种人), the black race and the white race. And we Chinese are the yellow race. We have yellow skin(皮肤) and black eyes.

It's Sunday morning. My family are all {#blank#}1{#/blank#} home. My father is watching TV. He likes watching TV and cooking. My mother is cleaning the rooms.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} are my sisters? Oh, look! Lily is over there. She is drawing a picture. She{#blank#}3{#/blank#} drawing very much. Lucy is in her room. She is writing a letter to her friend. Lucy likes orange. Autumn is her favourite {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. What about me? I'm doing my homework. I like reading and writing. I {#blank#}5{#/blank#} my family.

When the three dirty- looking pirates try to s{#blank#}1{#/blank#} the royal treasures when Queen Norah is away, the masked cleaning ladies of Om teach them a lesson. With their excellent cleaning skills, they finally lead the three pirates into the bathroom where they are s{#blank#}2{#/blank#} and soaped. Later when they are taken into the room the queen k{#blank#}3{#/blank#} all the royal treasures, they have a second try but still fail because King Harry and his man notice everything and stop them in time.

2nd March is National Old Stuff Day(旧物日) in the US. It is all about old stuff — things you used have been forgotten for ages in your home. You must have some old stuff around. And today is all about enjoying it and reusing(再次使用) it. Because what's better than finding something really great from days gone by?

It's so easy to forget things you have. If we don't use them every day, some things can be put away and stay there. And that's not just the things in your home — technology grows so quickly that new toys come out all the time, and new books keep coming out. In the age of new information, we can have so many things easily. Today is all about remembering the things we left behind. 

We've learnt to value what age can bring to things. Wines, for example, are more valuable and tastier as they grow older. It's certain that old things still have their uses, value or charm. People today will pay a lot of money for stamps, toys, video games, board games, books, coins, and clothes of yesterday. 

You can really get into the charm of old things by visiting a junk shop(旧货店). Another person's old stuff could be your new stuff! Or maybe now is a good day to clean up! Old stuff could become a great gift for someone else, or you could always send your old things to a charity(慈善机构). If you're free, you can turn your old clothes into new ones with just a little change. 

Today could be a good day to visit your elder families. You could ask your grandparents to tell you stories about family history, their childhood and their youth. Learn about what was going on in the world when they were growing up. 

Most of all, remember that today's new stuff will one day be old stuff. 

I can't forget that day. It was a cold snowy morning, the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (天空) was gray and dark. I got up early and went to a new school, which is the most {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (著名的) one in the foreign city. I was walking alone and worried about lots of things because it was the first time for me to stay {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (在国外).

 It was early, so it was {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (寂静的) outside. Suddenly a girl who was riding her bike got into trouble. She fell off the bike and tried to get up. But she failed. Without thinking, I went over and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (设法完成) to help her to get up. She said" thank you" with a smile and then{#blank#}6{#/blank#} (离开) . Her words warmed me a lot.

 Finally, I got to school. The teacher introduced me to the whole class. Then he asked me to sit{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(在……旁边) a girl. I felt so nervous. Soon the bell rang for the geography class. Their textbooks were different! Just I wanted to ask teacher for help. A geography book with a national  63. {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(旗帜) on its cover was in front of me. "Let's share", the friendly girl next to me said, "Hi, I'm Carrie. I'm {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(加拿大人)." To my surprise, it was the girl that I helped this morning. Later on, we became good friends.

From that I learned, to help others is actually to help {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(我们自己). What life teaches us is not only knowledge but also experience.

 This morning was not going well. After two hours' hard work, I was already falling behind. Sitting on the examination table was my next1 , a girl of five-year-old in a pretty pink dress. Her right hand was in a bowl of cleansing(清洁的) water with medicine,2 her large brown eyes had tears in them.

Standing beside her was a tall man. He turned to his daughter and began moving3 hands, seeming to communicate the words that he was whispering(低语) softly. "It's all right. The doctor is here."I realized that he was communicating through 4 .

"My daughter Sara is deaf," the father told me. The child had lost her hearing when she was six months old. I felt sadness. On the outside, Sara5 any other little girl. Yet, her world was now6 .

"We were on the way to Sara's dance class when she fell."

 "Dance class?" I asked,7 .

"Oh, yes!" the father laughed. "Sara dances to the music. She can 8 the music because music has vibrations(振动). You can feel them 9 you sit on a wooden floor listening to loud music."

I pointed to Sara' s hand. She held out her injured hand for me. There were some cuts, but 10 serious.

"It's okay," I said. I told her carefully and slowly that I would clean and cover the cuts. Sara 11 her head. She understood.

 As I gently cleaned her hand, I listened to the sounds 12 me. These were sounds that I had heard a thousand times but had 13 taken for granted(认为理所当然的). A door suddenly closed with a loud noise in the next room. It gave me a fright, but Sara continued to look 14 at her hand and at me.

 By the time I had cleaned and covered her hands, Sara's eyes were no longer teary but seemed to shine. Then she placed the tips of her right fingers against her mouth and flicked them forward. "That means15 ." Sara's father said.

"You' re welcome!" I replied. Thank you, Sara. I thought as I watched her leave. It was going to be a good day after all.
