    How's it going? I'd like to tell you about my travel experiences.

    Last month, I went to Chengdu {#blank#}1{#/blank#} my vacation with my parents. Chengdu is in Sichuan, in the southwest of China. It's {#blank#}2{#/blank#} for its beautiful mountains, forests and lakes. Many people go there to enjoy their vacation every year. We had a five-day trip and took many {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. We saw pandas and monkeys. They were {#blank#}4{#/blank#}cute that we couldn't help watching them.

Hi, boys and girls! I'm a student of Jingwai Mingde Primary School in Yunnan. The school has a history of 15 years. Now there are about 1,000 teachers and students in my school. I think my school is really cool.

Do you know why I think so? Well, in my school, we students not only have lessons with teachers, but have farm work (农活) to do. Our teachers are happy to teach us how to do farm work and we are happy to learn it. We all think it's useful and fun. We grow (种植) vegetables and fruit in our free time. We can learn much and we can also eat the vegetables and fruit when they are ripe. They are healthy. And you know what? There is a small zoo (动物园) in our school. You can see chickens and other animals in it. Oh, I really love my school! Do you want to be a student of my school?

English teacher. But my English teacher is Ms. Yu. This is my classroom. 5 the number please. S-E-V-E-N. Yes, I'm in Class Seven.

Last year, my friends and I went on a trip. We started early in the morning and traveled for several {#blank#}1{#/blank#}on a bus. When we arrived, everyone was tired.

While we were getting off the bus, I noticed a young man, probably in his early twenties, standing very close to one of my friends. Suddenly I realized that he was trying to {#blank#}2{#/blank#}my friend's wallet from her bag! I {#blank#}3{#/blank#}really nervous, but I knew I had to take action to stop him. Luckily, I saw two police officers standing {#blank#}4{#/blank#}and got an idea. So I fell over and cried out painfully. The police officers heard that and came over to help. When they were by my side, I told them what was {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. They caught the thief right away.

After that, we thanked the police officers and went on with our trip happily

 One day, my science teacher, Mr Pearson asked me to have a"quick talk" after class. Although I had always done quite well in science and maths, I had 1 a bit with schoolwork by Grade 8. I didn' t really find the 2 in trying. I just thought I'd leave school as soon as I could.

 So that afternoon, when all the rest of the class had 3 , Mr Pearson sat down next to me. He asked me what I wanted to do in the future. I could answer that question 4 , because I'd been thinking about it — I wanted to work in a garage(汽车修理厂).

"So you'd like to fix cars?" he said. "Why not 5 them?" I said"Making them?" Mr Pearson said. "Being a(n) 6 designs the best cars in the world possibly". It was something I'd never thought. Mr Pearson said, "You are good enough at science and maths to do that, I know. But you don't really 7 ." I said shyly, "In Grade 8,I just... find everything a bit boring". Mr Pearson continued, "It's sometimes boring, but it's like 8 a mountain. You can't enjoy the exciting point 9 you work up from the bottom. The way is steep(陡峭的), and there's no 10 on the way."

 Mr Pearson was there for me after that, to explain things that I couldn't understand, or to help me with 11 in my life. And every month or two, he asked me, "How are things on that mountain?" I always said, "No view but I'm still going 12 ."

 Mr Pearson was right. At the end of Grade 8,I really started to 13 science and maths. He wasn't right about me becoming an engineer though. I got a bit 14 of cars as I got older, and decided that I wanted to study medicine when I left school. I now work in medical research, and I really feel like I'm on top of that15 at last!
