Last Monday afternoon my classmates and I went to eat in a small dining place near our school.

    It wasn't {#blank#}1{#/blank#} good time for us to get there as there were so {#blank#}2{#/blank#} people. So we {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to wait for a table. We waited for about half an hour before we could sit down and started to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} some food. Later our potato and mutton noodles came. However, there {#blank#}5{#/blank#} only a little mutton in the noodles! The waiter said, "I know the mutton noodles are short of mutton. But it is not as {#blank#}6{#/blank#} as before, right? A large bowl was 15 yuan before and now it is only 12 yuan." Then one of my classmates found a fly(苍蝇) in his noodles. "Wow! How can your restaurant be so unclean?!" My classmate asked the waiter. "Don't worry, boy. The fly is free. You don't need to pay {#blank#}7{#/blank#} it," said the waiter.

    {#blank#}8{#/blank#} terrible the place is! We were so angry {#blank#}9{#/blank#} we couldn't say a word! Then we took some photos of the noodles and put {#blank#}10{#/blank#} on our WeChat Moments(朋友圈). Now fewer and fewer people would like to eat there.

When is your favorite time? Lily goes to school from Monday to Friday. And lunchtime isher favorite time. 

Lily loves the school lunch. Some students don't like the school lunch, because they thinkit's not good. They bring(带来) their lunch to school. Their mothers make(做) hamburgers orsalad for them for lunch. Some students bring leftovers(剩饭菜) for lunch. But Lily doesn't!She thinks the school lunch is good. Her lunch is only $1.35. She can buy good and healthyfood. She has lunch with her friends. Boys can have lunch with girls. They like to talk about(谈论) their favorite subjects, their favorite teachers and their favorite days. After lunch, they liketo play games.

At school, Lily likes lunchtime. For Lily, her school days are very happy. 

It was the summer before my third grade. Our girls' softball(垒球) team was facing real pitchers(投球手)1 the first time. Before that, we could just hit the ball on the tee (球座). When the coach started pitching, hitting became 2 for me. I missed every single pitch. From the side, I heard my teammate Emily laughing at 3 . My face turned red. At that moment, I was starting to 4 playing softball.

At the entrance (入口), one short old woman followed me all the time. She wanted me to buy some cards. Finally, I became angry. "Don't you understand the meaning of ‘No'?" I shouted at her and left.

As soon as I walked along the Great Wall, I felt very excited. Then, when I was halfway, I found I was on a very dangerous road, and there were no walls. When the cold wind came, I was afraid. Suddenly, I heard a soft voice behind. Someone told me not to be afraid and she would help me. As I felt a pair of hands trying to keep me safe, I calm down(镇静).

Half an hour later, we arrived at a safer place. Feeling better, I turned around to see who she was. She was the short old woman. I felt humiliated for what I did and gave her a big hug (拥抱).

Through this experience, I learned that we should be kind to others because we never know what situation we'll be in and when we'll need help.

My name is Helen. I study at a middle school in Nanjing. My school is not far away from my home, so I usually go to school on foot. Sometimes, I go there in my father's car. My school is nice. Of all the buildings, I like the school library best. It's a new building in my school It's so big. It has four floors. Every school day, it's Open from 9 am to 6 pm. I like storybooks best. And I also like geography books. Every month, there are interesting activities in the library. I love them too.
