Look! This is a picture of my teacher's family. This is Mr. Smith. He is my English teacher.

    His wife is a doctor. She is nice. They have a son and a daughter. The boy's name is Sam and the girl's name is Kate. They are students. They are in the same school. They go to school on their bikes.

    Look! The son is like his mother. The daughter is like her father. Now they are all in China and can speak Chinese. They love China.

    Something caught my eyes when I was walking down the street. Two silver coins were shining in a melting snow bank, so I dug through the snow looking for more. Of course, I just ended up with really cold hands. I slipped the two coins into my pocket and went home, colder but richer. I began to think about how to spend the money.

    Two days later, Mary and her little sister were searching the snow banks. "Finders are keepers" was my first thought. I didn't want to hand them out even though Susy was already crying." I dropped them right here," she said between tears. Her hands were cold and red for digging in the snow. "Maybe they slid down the street with the melting snow. Let's dig over here. "Mary's voice sounded confident.

    "They'll never know" was my second thought, and I walked past them. "Phil, have you seen two silver coins?" asked Mary. Susy looked up from digging. Her eyes were hopeful.

    "Tell a lie" was my third thought. As a matter of fact, I hesitated," I dug two coins out of that snow bank just a few days ago. I wondered who might have lost them." Susy hugged me with a big smile, "Oh, thank you, thank you."

    Mr. Henry is an old man. He has no sons or daughters. He lives alone and feels very lonely. On last Thanksgiving Day, he passed the Whites' door, and Mr Whites' family invited(邀请) him to have a big dinner. He was the first guest(客人) to pass by that day. He ate a lot of turkey and pumpkin pie. Most of families in the town knew Mr. Henry well. They all asked him to eat some delicious food. Mr. Henry tried to refuse, but it didn't work. The people thought he was sky(害羞的) and pushed him in.

When the night was coming, people saw a car carrying an old man to the hospital. He was sick in hospital because he ate too much food.

Today is the fifth day of the new term. It {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(rain) when I was on my way home after school. 

 {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(luck), I took my umbrella with me. When I passed a corner (拐角) near my house, I saw {#blank#}3{#/blank#} old man. He was carrying an umbrella and a basket of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(apple). Suddenly I heard someone crying for help. I turned and saw the apples {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(fall) to the ground(地面), and the old man fell down. I helped {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(he) stand up right away, picked {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the apples and put them back into the basket. After that, I sent the old man to his house. When we arrived at his home, my  {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (foot) were both wet in the rain. He said, "Many thanks  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}you! You are such a {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(help) boy!" I was very happy because I helped someone in need.

 Old Mother Wind was talking with the Tall Tree in the forest, "I' ve just passed by the grass, and there I saw the Best Thing in the world. "

Bobby Mouse happened to sit under the tree and heard those1 . "The Best Thing in the world — what can that be?" he 2 "Well, it must be a lot of delicious nuts! I' ll go and find it. " Then Bobby Mouse ran 3 the grass. 

 He was running so4 that he didn't see Peter Rabbit until Peter Rabbit jumped out and asked, "5 are you going in such a hurry?"

"To find the Best Thing in the world, " Bobby Mouse answered. 

"The Best Thing in the world? I really6 eating carrots. That must be lots of carrots. I' ll go and join7 . " Peter Rabbit said to Bobby Mouse and ran after him. 

 Before long, they met Johnny Chuck, who asked the 8 question as Peter Rabbit just did. 

"To find the Best Thing in the world! Would you like to join us?" they shouted. 

"The Best Thing in the world?" said Johnny Chuck. "9 is more enjoyable than my own little home, the warm sunshine and the beautiful blue sky. I will 10 go with you!" So he stayed at home and played among the flowers with Old Mother Wind happily. 

 When Bobby Mouse and Peter Rabbit finally reached the grass, they had run far and fast all day long and still they didn't find the Best Thing in the world. When the 11 came, they started going back home. Now they didn't hurry in the dark12 they were very tired and hungry. 

 They came across Old Mother Wind halfway home. 

"Did you13 the Best Thing in the world?" asked Old Mother Wind. 

"No!" Their 14 sounded very sad. 

"Johnny Chuck has it, " she said. "It is being15 with the things you have. The Best Thing in the World is just around you. "
