Dongjiaominxiang is the longest hutong in Beijing. It's 1.552km long from the east road of Tian'anmen Square to Chongwenmennei Street. The oldest locals living in Dongjiaominxiang have only lived there for about 60 years, because the hutong had been the embassy area(使馆区) of the Old China for over 700 years since the Yuan dynasty. | |
Yichidajie (or One Foot Street) is the shortest hutong in Beijing. It is only about 30m long from east to west and there are only six stores on the street. Now it is a part of Yangmeizhu Xiejie. | |
Lingjing Hutong is the widest hutong in Beijing. It is 664m long and 32.18m in its widest part. It is in the Xicheng district of Beijing, and lies between Fuyou Street on the east and Xidan North Street on the west. |
