 阅读下面短文,在空白处填入一个适当的单词或括号内单词的正确形式(每空不多于两个词)。

Have you heard of the app (应用程序) Douyin? It's quite popular nowadays. There are plenty {#blank#}1{#/blank#} funny short videos on it. We can learn {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to draw pictures do housework and so on from the videos. So I enjoy watching {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (they). But there are some {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (disadvantage) about the app.

First, it can take {#blank#}5{#/blank#}too much of our time. We can easily become addicted (上瘾的) to it. Once, I enjoyed videos for {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(near) a whole afternoon. I forgot {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (do) my homework. It {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (steal) my time and energy.

{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (two), there are lots of meaningless (无意义的) videos. For example, some people did boring things {#blank#}10{#/blank#}posted what they did on the app. Watching these videos is not {#blank#}11{#/blank#} (help) for the growth of the students.

In a word, not everything on Douyin {#blank#}12{#/blank#} (be)good. So we shouldn't lose {#blank#}13{#/blank#} (we) in short videos for fun. We can set up {#blank#}14{#/blank#} time to go online, such as after homework. I think spending {#blank#}15{#/blank#} (little) than 20 minutes online each time is OK. What do you think?

 阅读下列短文, 从每小题所给的 A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项

Some animals can easily find their way home after a long journey. How do they make it? Scientific research shows that they are born with certain unusual abilities for direction.

A certain kind of ants, for example, can count their steps to avoid getting lost. They can go as far as 110 metres and bring food home. These ants live in the open desert(沙漠), so they have nothing to guide them along the way. It's like someone walking six kilometres through a dark forest.

Some fish have an unbelievable sense of smell. They can smell even a single drop of their home water in a large sea area. Some sea birds have a similar ability. They are able to make a smell map of their flying area.

Some animals can sense the earth's magnetic field (磁场), while humans can't. This magnetic field guides a certain kind of fish when they swim a long way to a place and then back. How can this kind of fish do that? It is still a mystery. Scientists have no good answers yet.

However, animals with such unusual abilities still have difficulty dealing with environmental changes caused by human activities. For example, many birds depend on stars for direction, but they get lost easily at night when city light s are kept on all night. To solve this problem, we can simply turn off some lights at night. Clearly, one small act of humans may mean a lot to animals.

 请从方框内选择适当的词并用其正确形式填空, 使文章完整连贯。注意每空一词, 每词仅用一次, 有两词为多余项。

Kites were invented in the early Warring States Period (475-221 B. C.) by Mozi and Lu Ban. It is said that the inventors got {#blank#}1{#/blank#} idea from a bird's natural flight(飞行).

The first kites were {#blank#}2{#/blank#} of light wood and cloth. They were used for recording distances(距离). Such information was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} for moving large armies across different areas. The kites were also used {#blank#}4{#/blank#} a way of communication at sea.

In 1282, Marco Polo saw a flying kite for the {#blank#}5{#/blank#} time in the city of Weifang. According to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} travel diary, there was a tradition at that time for testing the wind with a kite. Then people could know {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the weather was good enough for a long journey at sea. Marco Polo brought with him a Chinese kite {#blank#}8{#/blank#} he returned to Italy. Thanks to the Silk Road, the Chinese kite {#blank#}9{#/blank#} known in Europe. And from Europe, it would of course travel to the New World, the Americas.

Today, different {#blank#}10{#/blank#} of kites can be seen flying above parks in China. Some of them look like real animals. Some are similar to some cartoon characters. Some even have LED lights for night flights and fun light shows.
