    A Utah man who has been in a wheelchair for more than 30 years has created a hunt* called "Wheelchairs in the Wild" for people like him who have difficulty getting into the outdoors.

    Clint Robinson broke his neck after being thrown off a horse at a race 32 years ago. He has done his best to keep getting into the outdoors to hunt and fish, the Daily Herald in Provo reports.

    "We're trying to get new injured* people back out into the field, enjoying the outdoors and wildlife that's out there. We show them that there are other things that they can do. It's not good to sit in the house doing nothing," Robinson said.

    The youngest hunter in the hunt was 13-year -old girl Missy Cowley who couldn't walk. Her father loves to hunt but didn't know how to make her comfortable in the wheelchair. Her mother, Cindy Cowley, said it was amazing for her daughter to go hunting. "We always told her when she was little, 'you can do everything you want to do ... ' but we really didn't know how we were going to get her up there to hunt," Cindy Cowley said. Missey Cowley said it was a great experience that also allowed her to meet other people who use wheelchairs. "This is wonderful. In fact, I can do it," Missy said. "And I love being outdoors."

    Jerry Schlappi, an officer from Division of Wildlife Resources, who helped with the hunt, said Robinson is a perfect example showing other wheelchair users with disabilities* that they don't have to give up what they love.

Getting Your Sleep Cycle (周期) Right

Warning: this article may make you want to yawn (打哈欠). Why? It's because we're looking into the world of sleep cycles.

Our bodies sleep in 90-minute cycles, experiencing five to six each 1 . At first, you enter a light stage (阶段) of sleep when your muscles (肌肉) 2 . Then, the body temperature drops, and the heart beat slows.

Next comes 3 sleep. It's difficult to wake up this stage. This is when your body repairs 4 and builds up energy (能量) for the day ahead. 5 , you get into the rapid eye-movement (REM,快速眼动) sleep stage. It is when most dreaming happens. 6 REM sleep, the cycle repeats.

Waking up in the morning in the "wrong" stage can make you feel especially 7 . An app called Sleep Calculator can help you avoid this. It's a tool made to work out the 8 bedtime for you based on your wake-up time.

Developed by the UK company Hillarys, this smart calculator considers the 9 cycles our bodies go through each night. Whether you're an early bird or a night owl (猫头鹰), simply input your wake-up time , 10 the calculator will work its magic, suggesting the perfect bedtime to make sure that you 11 and shine with a spring in your step.

It's also worth noting that you shouldn't just 12 your sleep cycle whenever you want. Many young people go to bed 13 and get up late, such as sleeping from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. They 14 as long as they have 8 hours of sleep, everything will be fine.

But in fact, our bodies can tell the 15 , especially by using light and temperature. If we wake up too late, we may feel a bit like a zombie (僵尸). That's why sometimes we feel even more tired after oversleeping.

根据下面短文内容,在短文的空格处填上一个最恰当的词,使短文完整、通顺。

Many successful people follow a similar routine(常规). This helps them make the best use of their days. This also helps sleep well at night. One of the most important things successful people do is to get ready for the next day the night before. Let's see{#blank#}1{#/blank#}they do that.

Learn to relax

Successful people say it is important to relax. Some enjoy listening to music, w{#blank#}2{#/blank#}others like taking a bath before going to bed. Studies show that a 15-minute bath an hour or two before bedtime helps them sleep better. Sleeping well tonight means a good day tomorrow.

Put the phone down

Studies show that the blue light from a phone is bad for our sleep. Successful people c{#blank#}3{#/blank#}their phone use. They don't sleep with their phones nearby. They put phones away an hour{#blank#}4{#/blank#}bedtime and they use an alarm clock to wake up.

Think about today

Before sleep, it helps to think about the day. Many{#blank#}5{#/blank#}people think about the good things from the day. This helps them to learn and to change. It also{#blank#}6{#/blank#}them to make a plan for a good (perhaps even better) day tomorrow.

Make a{#blank#}7{#/blank#}.

Many successful people make plans for their activities the next day. It helps them sleep well. This is important because sleeping b{#blank#}8{#/blank#}sometimes makes everything seem worse the next day. Making plans also helps them wake up relaxed, happy and ready for the new day.

 下面的材料中,左栏是五个人的情况介绍,右栏是六种新发明,请为每个人选择一个他们感兴趣的发明。请将相关的内容相匹配。

Mr. Brown is always worried when his daughter goes out alone. He wants to give her something to keep her safe. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

Jenny enjoys hiking and she'd like to have a warm meal wherever she goes. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

Mr. Zhang works in a university. He finds it hard to carry a heavy notebook around. He needs a lighter one. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}

There's a small river between Li Wen's village and the town. But the bridge's far from his house. So he prefers to carry a small boat with him. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}

Mrs. Green is 75 and she thinks it's dangerous for her to drive a common car on the road. She wants a car that fits her. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

A It's the world's first AR notebook. You just need to put on a pair of glasses and then you' ll see a screen around you. It means that you don't need a real screen and you can work anywhere.

B These are new satellites (卫星). When they look at the forests, they can see what kind of trees they are and tell how healthy the leaves are. This helps us keep a close eye on Earth's health.

C. This is a boat at about 26 kg. Thanks to its small size, it can take you across the river. After you use it, just let out the air in it and store it wherever you want.

D. The car is about 4 meters long, twice the size of a children's bumper car(碰碰车). Many old people like to drive this kind of car as it's safer for them to drive on the road.

E. This is a small alarm that can make a really loud noise and give out a flashing light so other people will know that you' re in trouble. It can also call your family and even the police to help you.

F. This is a heater that looks like a normal bag. It can heat a meal in about 20 minutes. Users can change the bag's temperature with an app on their phone.
