Nowadays it has been a hot topic about whether we should go to the English summer camp. The students of our school have different  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (idea) about it according to a survey. Some agree  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}others don't. Those who want to take part in  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}activity think that they can practise English in the camp. Also, they can relax 

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (they). What's more, they are able to make new friends  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(easy). However, some of the students are not  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(interest) in English. And they think the time they have to stay away from home  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(be) too long for them. Their parents won't allow them  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(do) so.

In my eyes,  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}I go to the summer camp, it will help me learn to work with my classmates. By living and learning together, I can learn to get along better  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}others than before. So I'd like to join.

Since May 8, Boston Dynamics' dog-like robot, Spot, has been in use at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park in Singapore to help encourage social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic (新冠肺炎疫情) according to a report in the South China Morning Post.

Singapore's government is funding the experiment of the robotic dog, which will last for two weeks at the park during off-peak (非高峰的) hours.

"The robot isn't enforcing (强制). It's just giving people information and encouraging them," Boston Dynamics founder Marc Raibert told CNBC. "When Spot is patrolling (巡逻) the area, there's a park officer nearby who can do whatever enforcement he decides is suitable."

Cameras fixed on Spot will scan the surroundings and help officers work out the number of visitors in the park, but they cannot read faces and won't collect any personal information. It also carries a loudspeaker to broadcast a pre-recorded message to remind visitors of the importance of social distancing.

Without enough manpower, Singapore is turning to robotics to reduce the manpower required for park patrols and remind people about the risks they may be putting themselves and others in.

The question, however, is whether their use of Spot will be a good tool or will only attract more people to it instead.

If the two-week experiment proves successful, the government will consider using Spot at the park during peak hours. Singapore will also do studies to see if it's worth using other Spots in other parks. Already, Singapore engineers are trying to improve Spot, making it tell if people are together in a group or strangers passing on the grass.

No one knows if Spot will stay after the pandemic is gone, but one thing is for sure: the robot is the hardest working dog in the world.

The difference between happy people and unhappy people is their level of gratitude（感激）. If you observe anyone who is miserable（悲惨的），you will notice they are never1 and constantly blaming their history，luck or other people for their struggles. If you observe happy people，they are2 gratitude. 

3 paying attention to what they don't have to achieve — they choose to focus on solutions to create the life they want. 

4 these people are triggered by a bad turn of events，after reacting with sadness and anger — they get back to their baseline of happiness in due time. 

Studies show that you can actually5 your brain for happiness by practicing gratitude on a daily basis. Gratitude is a choice. Happiness is an attitude. How you will live your days is a choice6 is completely within your control.

As the high school entrance examination is coming soon, you might feel a bit worried or nervous. These feelings may make you stressed out and fail to focus on your studies. But think about it. Would your favorite superhero have these same feelings?

Scientists have been studying what they call the "Spider-Man Effect" (蜘蛛侠效应) in children. They've found that if kids imagine themselves as a powerful person—such as a super hero like Spider-Man, they won't feel so nervous and will be able to focus on their work.

For example, if you feel nervous during an exam, try to imagine that you are a Spider-Man. You may find that you can "remove" the stress from this situation and feel more confident. This can help keep you fight off bad feelings and focus on your task, just like a superhero would. Pretending to be a superhero makes us feel powerful and that will have an influence on how we act in real life.

But you don't have to always choose a superhero like Spider-man. Anyone you admire can encourage you to get through hard times, or remind you of how you should act in certain situations. Favorite stars, famous painters, even our own parents—anyone can be our "Spider-Man". For example, when it comes to how I communicate with others, I like to look toward my mom for inspiration. She is a middle school teacher who is always kind, thoughtful and brave. I try to act the same way like her.

{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Most middle school students have two or three hours of homework every day. It is a good idea to make some kinds of homework plans, especially if you want to do sports or other activities after school. 

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} A bedroom, study or any quiet place is good for you to do your homework. But don't study on your comfortable bed, or you might fall asleep there. 

Have some rest. It's not good for students to study for long, so have some rest and you can learn better. 

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} Sometimes you study so hard, but some subjects are still too difficult. You can ask teachers and classmates for help. 

In China, many people are leaving the countryside to find jobs in the cities, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in some European cities, people have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} different idea. They are moving out of the cities. These rich families want to {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a quieter life. They are tired of the noise and the dirt(尘土) of the cities, and they are tired of the crowded streets, crowded trains and buses. They don't want to live in the cities any more. They want a house {#blank#}4{#/blank#}a garden in the countryside , and breathe the {#blank#}5{#/blank#} air there. 

 So they move out of the cities. Some don't go very {#blank#}6{#/blank#}, just to the towns near the cities. {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. people move to the countryside with sheep, cows and green fields. There, they start their new life and try to make new {#blank#}8{#/blank#} . 

 Not all those who move from the city to the countryside are happy. After {#blank#}9{#/blank#} or three years, many people feel that it is a big mistake. They don't{#blank#}10{#/blank#} so much money and there isn't much work to do. People in the countryside are very different and aren't always very friendly.
