Peter: What's your favourite fruit, Betty?

Betty: Apples. Because they are sweet.

Peter: I like fruit. But I don't like grapes. They are sour（酸的）. I like oranges. They are yummy.

Bill: I like potatoes. They are delicious. What about you, Ann?

Ann: I don't like potatoes. But I like fish. It's fresh.

Ben: I like fish, too. It's very healthy.

    An old man visits a new doctor. He is very young. "I don't fed well, doctor." he said. "Please find out what's wrong with me." "Take off your clothes and lay down on the bed." The old man takes off his clothes and lies down on the bed. The young doctor examines him. However, he can't find anything wrong with the old man. He listens to his heart. He looks into his throat. He examined every part of him. At last, he says, "I'm sorry, but I can't find anything wrong with you." "That's strange." the old man says, "I feel really bad."

    "Go home and come to see me again tomorrow, if you don't feel better." the doctor says, "I'll examine you again." "All right, doctor." the old man says slowly. He stands up and puts on his clothes. Then he walks out of the hospital. A few seconds later, the nurse runs in. "Doctor, doctor!" she cries, "That man you said was healthy has just died outside of the door." The doctor thinks quickly. "Turn the body around, so that people will think he was coming in." he said.

    A sunny day, many students are visiting in Shanghai Zoo. They're having fun there. Look, some boys are watching the monkeys. There are eighteen monkeys there. They're lovely and naughty. Some are sitting on the hill, some are chasing each other. The girls are watching swans now. The swans are black and white. They're swimming on the river. They're quiet and beautiful. The students like animals very much because animals are our good friends.

    It's half past seven in the morning. Dick is still asleep. Mum wakes him up: "Dick, it's seven. Get up right now." Dick puts on his clothes and then comes into the living room. Mum says: "Dick, here's your breakfast. Dick answers: "Bread and eggs again! I don't like bread. And I don't want any breast. May I have an egg, please? Bye, Mum. I'm going to school." Dick runs to school. But there are no teachers or students in the school. "How silly I am! It's Saturday today."

    My name is Janet. There are five people in my family. They are my father, mother, brother, sister and me. We live in Beijing. My father likes spring best because he likes climbing mountains. My mother is a doctor. She likes swimming in the lake, so summer is her favourite season. My brother likes winter very much because he likes going skating. My sister likes autumn best because it is cool in autumn. She doesn't like summer. It's too hot for her. What about me? Oh, I like making a snowman. Guess? What's my favourite season?

    Spring is beautiful, but in Canada it often rains. And it is hard to plant flowers in the rain. But there are a lot of flowers in my garden. So I love my garden! It is so nice to watch the flowers grow.

    The weather is very hot in summer in Canada. But people love the season because they often travel in this season. And I can go swimming and sightseeing (观光) In summer.

    In autumn I can pick apples. They are very delicious in this season. I also love to watch the leaves fall. Is that why we can call autumn "fall"?

    It usually snows in winter in Canada. Sometimes it snows in Beijing, too. When it snows, I can ski and make a snowman with my friends.

    I love all the seasons. They are all beautiful and I can find many interesting things to do.
