"Museums of the World" Travel Plan

Here's the travel plan for some unusual museums on our "Museums of the World" tour. 

I'll send you the full journey next week.

The Museum of Bad Art (MOBA) (Boston, USA) shows what it is called as "art too bad to be ignored(忽略)". The museum hopes to bring the worst of art to the people around the world.

We'll see some really ugly paintings.

The Hair Museum (Avanos,Turkey) is in a cave in Cappadocia, in Central Anatolia. It contains 16,000 samples of people's hair. You'll be offered a chance to add your own hair to the collection.

The Washington Banana Museum （Auburn, Washington, USA）collects more than 17, 000 objects. We'll learn all sorts of interesting things, such as the fact that bananas were introduced to the USA in 1878 in the same exhibition as Alexander Graham Bell's telephone, the banana is now the best selling fruit in the USA.

The Science Museum (London, the UK)is interesting for people of all ages. It's free to enter and open from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m.You can talk and even operate machines there. You can do a lot of physics experiments in the Launchpad. You can also learn about what machines were like in the past on the fourth and fifth floors. 

Chinese Calligraphy(书法)Club

Do you want to learn how to write traditional Chinese characters? Do you want to enjoy the beauty of Chinese calligraphy? Mr Li is waiting for you.

Beijing Opera Club

Do you like handcrafts(手工艺品)? Come to our Chinese Knot Club. You can make your own Chinese knots and learn something about Chinese culture. The traditional red knots can bring you good luck.

Attention: University Students Studying Education, History and Art! 

We are looking for 10 to 12 interns(实习生) to help us with our summer program, Camp Culley. It will be held at the museum in Culpeper, Virginia, America. Two one-week periods for kids are as follows: 

July 21st-July 25th & July28th-August 2ⁿ ᵈ 8:30a. m.-4:00 p. m., from Monday to Friday 

(Working dates for interns: July 1st-August 15th) 

Interns will help plan, develop and organize activities and projects that are connected with the exhibitions of the museum. Interns will also take part in the program as guides, such as leading a small group of 4 to 5 children throughout the day's activities. Two interns are needed for each group. 

In addition, interns will take part in group discussions. Camp Culley offers children aged 6-12 an interesting program of history and art. Children are offered a different program with activities and projects for 5 days. Two field trips are included: 

A trip to Luck Stone Quarry to see Dinosaur Prints 

A visit to Old Culpeper Town to know about the life of American Indians
