Inside it, I found some money or a card with a phone number. Believing that the owner would be worried, I immediately try the number. A man answered it in an anxious voice. Hearing that I had his wallet, he sighed with relief and told me he would come right away. Ten minutes late, the man arrived. After confirm he was the owner, I returned the wallet back to him. With his thumb up, he expressed his thank to me repeatedly. Seeing the smile on his face, I felt happy that I was able to help.

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard my name calling. I was chosen to play the leading role in a play, that was my dream. As a shy and thin girl, I used to being quite afraid of speaking in the public. But my parents and teachers always encouraged me to do so. What they said had a deep influence of me. By now I changed greatly. In class, I am often the first one to stand up and answer questions even if I may take some mistakes.     Time flies! This is a third year that I have been in this school. In the past two and a half years, our school had organized many activities. What impressed me best was an activity called “Learning to Farm”. In an autumn afternoon, we were sent to a farm which we learned to plant potatoes. Having been in the city for so a long time, we were so happy to go to the countryside. After divided into three groups, we started to work. Some students cut potatoes into pieces; some dug holes, and the others put the pieces of potatoes into the hole, put the earth back and push them down hard. We continued doing that until all the work was done. Although we were exhausted, but we felt fulfilled on our way back home.

    The other day my friend Xu Rui found I am in low spirits, so she gave me a dozen roses to cheering me up. However, I only have one leave now, for I gave them all away. I gave one to my sister in hope that it would bring herself a little cheer. I took one to a friend who had not been feeling well recent. The flower or the visit helped much than I could tell but the friend was grateful. The rest went to those who had helped me in such many ways. Xu Rui gave me the flowers to help brighten up my day, but the biggest joy I received it was giving them away.

    My classmates and I decide to do something for our coming graduation. After the heated discussion, we agreed on making a video to record their school life experiences.

Material collecting took us a whole week — we interviewed our teachers or took pictures of almost every aspect of our school life. Edit the interview videos and pictures were tough. We discussed about what to be put into the video. Some compromises and arguments were unavoidable, but the video turned out to be perfectly. Several days later, when the video played at the graduation ceremony, it was well received. The students and teachers had a great time. That surely gave us a great sense of achievements.
