Sadly, the beaches of Ghana, a country in West Africa, are among these places. Now, the beaches are covered with clothing waste. People from all over the world donate clothes to charities (慈善机构). However, charity shops only sell up to 20 percent of donated clothes, according to The Guardian. The unsold clothes are then put in large bags and travel to other countries to be sold again or for waste disposal (处理). 

The Kantamanto Market in Accra, the capital of Ghana, is one of the world's largest second-hand clothing markets. Every week, about 15 million pieces of clothes arrive at Kantamanto. But about 40 percent of them leave the market as waste. 

Workers either burn the waste or put it underground. However, the city is near the sea, so there's not enough space for waste. This is why a lot of clothing waste ends up on the beach. 

As it goes into the sea, fish and other sea life are in danger. Sea turtles can't get to the land, and fish can't grow because they may get caught in the clothes. 

"The waste is also hurting the economy, "Ernest Ijawan, a worker at a landfill in Ghana, told Forbes. Fishers can't catch as many fish as before since most of the things they catch are clothes.

Friends are very important in people's lives. Just as a saving goes, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} I think it's very easy to make friends with other people and build a friendship between each other. However, it is not easy to get true friendship, I think. So what is true friendship (友谊)? In my opinion, true friendship includes:

First of all, true friendship must treat their friends loyally and help each other. In other words, you must not take advantage of your friends,{#blank#}2{#/blank#} For example, some unfriendly people make friends in order to cheat money and feelings, or get a certain secret. I don't think these are true friendships.

Second,{#blank#}3{#/blank#} For example, if a friend is really in need of money to escape (逃避) from some troubles, true friends might lend it and help him or her.

Third,{#blank#}4{#/blank#} One of the greatest men once said, " If you tell your happiness to your friend, you will get double happiness I f you tell your sadness to your friend, you will get half."

The African elephant is Earth's largest land animal by far. Asian elephants are a little smaller than African elephants. They mainly live in 1  of India and Southeast Asia. About 30% of Asian elephants live in captivity (圈养). 

To 2  elephants, the World Elephant Day was set up in 2012. People 3  it on August 12th every year. In China, there are about 300 4  elephants. Most of them are in Yunnan, Southwest China. And they are 5  first- class state (国家一级的) protection. August12th of 2023 was the 6  World Elephant Day. China celebrated it in a safari park in Guangzhou. 

As we all know, 15 7  elephants moved to the north of Yunnan from the forests 3 years ago.8  said that it was uncommon for them to move so far. It made many people become 9  the reason. Some elephant lovers thought 10  they just wanted to look for food. In fact, to protect the elephants, the Chinese government 11  more than 160 nature reserves (保护区) in Yunnan. However, the number of elephants is 12  so fast. Now there isn't enough food for them, so they decided to leave their home. 

Nobody was sure about the 13 , but the fact was that their"journey" to north broke (打破) the peace of some villages. They destroyed farms along the way and made people in 14 . The police tried to stop the situation from getting worse all the time. They took lots of food to feed those wild elephants15  guide them to a safe place.
