Andy doesn't like cleaning his room. This morning, when Andy is lying in bed, Mum walks into his room. She finds there are many clothes on the floor. Mum gets angry and says, "Look at your room, Andy! I don't want to come into your room at all. Today your brother Ryan wants to go to the zoo. Get up and put your clothes on quickly if you would like to go with us. "

Andy gets out of his bed and finds his coat, jeans and scarf on the floor, but he only finds one of his shoes. "Can you help me find the other one, Mum? "Andy asks. His mum says, "No, Andy. Fred is a boy of 8 years old. Today after breakfast, he 1 his home and goes to a music club with his sister Jane. And Jane helps to 2 a box. But the box falls (掉落) when Jane talks to Fred happily. The thing in 3 comes out.

Then Fred puts (放) the guitar into the box.

"Oh, how great you are, Fred! Sorry and thank you," Jane says.

Katie Booser is a third-grade teacher at Franklin Elementary School in California, USA. Every day she says inspirational (鼓舞人心的) words together with her 1 . For example, she says "I believe in 2 ", "I am strong", and "I am smart". She has done this with every 3 for the past 10 years.

Katie got the 4 from her teachers. They taught her how to believe in herself 5 she was studying in school. "As a student, I was a worried kid. I was always 6 before a competition or a big exam," Katie said. "Those ‘I am' words from my teachers 7 me a lot. By saying these words, I became more confident (自信的). That was good for my 8 ."

Katie wants to help her students in the 9 way. She believes these words can play a 10 in helping them build up their confidence. Every day, she 11 them to say many inspirational words both inside and outside the classroom. "It is really 12 , especially (尤其) during COVID-19, with so much out of our control," said Katie. "The words we say are great in class, and 13 they're great out in the real world."

In a small village in Henan, there is a cool teacher named Zhang Jiantao. He teaches science at a primary school in the village. Mr. Zhang loves working on experiments (实验) with his students and making them laugh and learn at the same time. 

Mr. Zhang's experiments are so fun that the kids can't wait for the next one. They often ask, " When can we do science experiments, Mr. Zhang?" Mr. Zhang notices their excitement and tries to do more. He enjoys it when he sees the kids excited about science. 

Mr. Zhang doesn't have enough equipment ( 器 材 ) for his experiments in the school, but that doesn't stop him! He uses what he has around him, " Old bottles can be helpful in our experiments!" says Mr. Zhang. " We can turn waste into treasure. " He shows the kids that old bottles can come in handy for many experiments. He uses them to create amazing things, like water rockets. With little money and plenty of waste, he is trying his best to make science easy and fun to learn. 

As time passes, Mr. Zhang's passion(激情) for teaching science grows stronger. He wants more kids to

learn and have fun with science, especially in the countryside. He wants to share his experiments with other teachers. He dreams of creating a science textbook for them. That way, more kids can enjoy the wonders of science, just like his students.
