    Hi, my name's Ann. Sue is my friend. She lives on Green Street. It's near her school. So she walks to school. Tomorrow (明天）is 6^th October. It is her birthday. She is seven. She will have a birthday party. It begins at half past three in the afternoon. She likes pink. I have a pink card for her. We can sing and dance. She likes singing. She is good at singing. She wants to be a singer in the future.

    Last holiday in winter, I went to Hainan with my parents. The beach was so nice.I ate lots of sea food there. I took some beautiful pictures of the sea. I bought many postcards for my friends. It wasn't cold in winter. We went swimming every day. My father bought a white T-shirt and my mother bought a purple dress.

    American schools begin in September after a long summer holiday. There are two terms in a school year: the first term is from September to January, and the second is from February to June. High school students take only four or five subjects each term. They usually go to the same classes every day, and they have homework for every class. After class they can do many interesting things. After high school, many students go to universities. They usually have to give a lot of money to the university. So many students work after class to get the money for their study.

Whose Dogs?

    Tom and his Mum walk in a street. They see a big dog and a small dog there.

    "Tom, do you know whose dogs they are?" his Mum asks.

    "Sorry, I don't know."

    "The big dog is the small dog's Mum." says the mother.

    "Oh, I know. The small dog is the big dog's son." answers Tom.

Mary: What can you do at home, Lisa?

Lisa: I can clean the windows and make the bed. What about you, Tom?

Tom: I can cook the meal and water the flowers. Can you sweep the floor?

Lisa: Yes, of course. I often help my mom sweep the floor.

Mary: No, I can't. But I can do the dishes and wash the clothes.

Tom: We are all helpful at home.
