I am a student. I like sports. I run every morning and I swim twice a week(一周两次). I like all kinds of ball games. I like football, basketball, volleyball, tennis and ping­pong. I am good at playing ping­pong. I often play ping­pong with my friend, Li Lei. We are on the school team. But he doesn't like any other ball game. He also likes to collect(收集)balls. He has a great collection(收藏品)of balls. He has 60 footballs, 16 volleyballs and many ping­pong balls. We like to watch sports on TV.

    Judy always goes to school early. She likes to talk with her friends before the class. But she doesn't go home early after school. She likes to look at the cats in the pet shop. She likes a lovely white cat.

    It's Judy's birthday today. She can't find the cat in the shop. She's sad. At home she sees a large box on the floor. It's a present for her. She opens the box. There is a lovely white cat in it. Her mother gives it to her. She's happy.

    Now Judy can go home early every day.

    Everyone wants to have good manners, but it is not so easy. We must care about everything in life. There is something we should know.

    First, say "hello" to people you meet, not only to teachers, but also to your friends and your classmates, and even your neighbors. Second, help others as much as you can. Then everybody will like you. Third, don't laugh at others. That will be impolite and hurt them. Fourth, never ask others about their personal information. If others have something that they cannot say, they will be very embarrassed.

    Good manners make things easier. They can help people to get on well with each other. When you are nice to people, they will be nice to you.

    Mr and Mrs White go shopping by car. They stop their car near the shop. They buy a lot of things and they want to put the things in the car. They can't open the door of the car, so they ask a policeman for help. The policeman is very pleased to help them. Just then a man comes up and shouts, "What are you doing with my car?" Mr and Mrs White take a look at the car's number and they are frozen with a shock. It isn't their car.

    Today is Sunday. On Sundays, I usually play the piano. My father usually reads the newspaper. My mother usually cleans the house. But today my mother is ill in bed. She caught cold yesterday. My father has to do the housework. Now, he is washing the clothes. I am cleaning the house. What is my little sister doing? She is playing with her doll. She's only three years old.
