   The following informations is about the American school system. Secondary school in the US usual covers seven years, grades six to twelve. Ninth to twelfth grades were high school. In the end of twelfth grade, American students receive the high school diploma. Students need a high school diploma if they want to go to a college.     I used to delay things until deadlines, that caused me much trouble. Therefore, I thought of some ways to get rid the bad habit. First, I took a shower right after I got home from school. It refreshed me but made my thoughts more active. Furthermore, in order to avoid being constant disturbed by my cell phone, I left them with my parents. The final strategy I use was scheduling. I managed to planning my days ahead of time so that I could break up my tasks instead of having too many work to do on the last day. By using these simple technique, I've improved my efficiency and made a great progress.

    Last week I got the first prize in the English Speech Contest hold in our school, that made me very excited. I used to be too shy not to speak English in public. It was Susan who asks me to practice several times in her office and corrected my pronunciation and intonation. Besides, she encouraged me be confident and brave whether I wanted to show my talent before others. I followed her advices. That was why I won the first prize.
