Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday. The day after it has been known as Black Friday. It is the start of the holiday shopping season，and it has been the busiest shopping day of the year in the US since 2005.Most stores offer big sales on Black Friday. They open their doors quite early in the morning. They try to attract shoppers with big discounts. Some items(商品)like TVs and clothes are much cheaper than usual. Stores may even lose money on these items. They hope that shoppers will buy gifts for other people while they are in the store. Black Friday is a great time to go shopping. However，there are problems. The biggest one is that there are not enough low—priced items. Each store may only have a few. So people stand in long lines to get them. They may wait three to four hours before a store opens.

Jack：Hi, Mike. How many toy cars do you have?

Mike：I have four.

Jack：How many toy bears do you have，Amy?

Amy：I have seven.

Jack：Hello, John! How many crayons do you have?

John：I have twelve.

Jack：Do you have toy boats，Sally?

Sally：Yes. I have nine.

    It is four o'clock in the afternoon. The students are in the classroom. What are they doing? Bobo is reading a picture book with John. Coco is sweeping the floor. Lucy is cleaning the blackboard. Cathy is doing her homework. Emma is helping her. Miss Zhang is their teacher. She is in the classroom too. What is she doing? She is talking with Jack.

    The Spring Festival was on February 16th this year. On the eve of the Spring Festival, we had a big dinner. After dinner, I put on my new clothes and went out to watch fireworks. Wow! How colourful and beautiful they were! So we took some photos. After that we went home happily. At twelve o'clock, we cheered to welcome New Year and wished each other good luck. During the Spring Festival, I got lots of red packets. My favourite festival is the Spring Festival.

    A tiger lived in the forest. He didn't want to look for food. He often told other animals to bring him something to eat.

    One day, he saw a monkey and said, "I am hungry, Monkey. Go and bring me something to eat." "Oh, tiger," said the monkey, "I can't do that now. There is another tiger in the forest. He is stronger than you. He doesn't let me get anything for you. I'm afraid of him." The tiger was angry. "What?" he said. "Show me the way. I'll eat him." "Come with me," said the monkey.

    The monkey and the tiger got to a bridge over the river. "Now look down in the river. Do you see the big head, the long teeth and big eyes .of that tiger?" "Yes, I do. I'll eat him. "Then the tiger jumped into the river.
