    With the summer vacation is drawing near, my classmates are all trying very hardly to get train tickets to go home except me. I have a different plan for the upcoming vacation. I have made up my mind to spend the first two weeks of the vacation travel alone in Sichuan and Guizhou and then work part-time in the city centre library for rest of the vacation. Since I won't go home, my parents are going to visit myself on campus. When they coming here, I will show them around my university and the city as well. I am thinking of buying them some nice gifts, it will be a big surprising for them. My parents mean a lot to me.     To increase the aware of protecting the environment, last Saturday we, some volunteers, carried out environmental protection activity in the Civil Square.

    In the morning, we have gathered at the school gate at 7：00. Then we walked to the square, when we were divided into several groups. Some collected the rubbishes on the square, some cleared the old posters off the walls, and another swept the ground. The duty of my group is to deliver environmental protection brochures and introduces the importance of environmental protection.

    Time passed quickly. It was getting late after we knew it and the square looked more beautifully. Tiring as I was, I was very happy because we did do something to protect the environment.

    It is known to all, sports are playing a more and more important role in people's life. Last week a sports program was hold in our school. All the students took an active part in all kind of sports, such as football, basketball, run, swimming, bike riding and so on. They competed against each other and cheer for each other as well. They said they were fond with such a program.

    I also enjoyed it a lot of and I think we students should do sports every day. They can not only build up our bodies but also helped us study more efficient. Only in this way will we lead healthy and wonderful life.
