Now lots of parents will buy everything that their children want to have. If they go on with the habit, their children won't know the money {#blank#}1{#/blank#} from hard work.
Some parents like to{#blank#}2{#/blank#} birthday parties for their children. If they keep on doing this, their children will think it {#blank#}3{#/blank#} for them to enjoy birthday parties every year. Year after year, maybe they will forget their {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  birthdays and only remember their own. It is against traditional habits.
Many parents don't let the children do housework. They think children have only one thing to do. They should study hard and do{#blank#}5{#/blank#}in their lessons. If parents go on doing this, the children will only learn to open their mouths to be fed and stretch out (伸出) their arms to be {#blank#}6{#/blank#} every day. When the children grow{#blank#}7{#/blank#} , they will be able to do{#blank#}8{#/blank#} , and they won't even find a job. Parents should teach the children {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  to do housework because it can help them start good {#blank#}10{#/blank#} of working by themselves.

Duties of a Student

    Education is the very thing that we want to receive. Our parents {#blank#}1{#/blank#} us to school so as to enable (使能够) us to get knowledge and achieve great things in the future. The followings are the duties of a student which we should keep in {#blank#}2{#/blank#}.

    Firstly, we should be filial (孝顺的) to our parents and respectful to our {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

    Secondly, we must study as {#blank#}4{#/blank#} as we can.

    Thirdly, we must not tell lies.

    Last of all, we must not criticize (苛求) {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

    To sum up, the above-mentioned rules are the very duties of a student.
