    I went to the SAIC-GM Pavilion (上汽集团通用汽车馆). I found my dream car there. It is a green car. Its name is “Leaf”. Chinese engineers made the car. Its roof is in the shape of a leaf. The roof takes in CO₂ and changes it intoelectricityfor the car.
    The Japan Pavilion is full of high technology. The “Wonder Camera” is cool. It can find a smiling face in a crowd. When you're smiling, it takes a photo of you. I want to invent something like that in the future.
    My favorite pavilion is the Germany Pavilion. I watched the Energy Source show. Visitors made a ball swing back and forth (来回摇摆) by using only their voices. It's amazing! Although we had waited for quite a long time before we entered the hall, I think it is well worth seeing with your own eyes.
    I like painting, so my parents took me to the France Pavilion to see the famous paintings. But the French cooks caught my eye. I saw them cook. My mom told me that they are some of the best cooks in the world. The dish they cooked looked like a painting. So, being a cook is my second dream job.

It was a February afternoon. We were in a classroom. Taylor Angler watched some ducks swimming on a farm. But it was all in her head. A virtual reality headset (虚拟现实头戴式显示设备) took her there. "I was surprised to find that the ducks were right in front of me! It was an exciting experience (经历)." Taylor said after taking off the purple headset and finding herself still in the classroom. Many students around the world are taking VR "trips" like Taylor. But what change does it cause in learning? 

Taking children to visit different places is a good way to teach them about the world. But what can children do if they forget it after the trip? VR lets children go back at any time. 

It's difficult to talk about something if you didn't see it with your own eyes in the past. If you didn't see the ocean, with VR, now you can have a look at it for yourself. 

VR can also help students in science classes at school. "Too often at school, when you do experiments (实验), you put different kinds of chemicals together and then get the result. And if you aren't successful, you need to do it again, " a high school teacher said. "But we don't have enough chemicals. With VR, I just need to do it again on the computer. I don't have to use chemicals."

VR is useful, but that's not to say we don't need real-world experiences. The real world is what we really need to learn about.

When you cut your skin，you bleed. If a person loses a lot of blood，he will become ill and may die. Blood is very important. People have always known that. At one time some people even drank blood to make them strong!

When doctors understand how blood goes around inside the body，they try ways of giving blood to people who need it. They take blood from the healthy people and give it to people who need it. This is called"blood transfusions". The blood goes from the arm of the healthy person into the of the sick person. 

But there are two problems. First，it does not always work. Sometimes people die when they have blood transfusions. Later，doctors find that we do not all have the same kind of blood. There are four groups﹣O，A，B and AB. We all have blood of one of these groups. They also find that they can give any kind of blood to people of group AB. But they find that they must give A-group blood to A-group people and B-group blood to B-group people. I have O-group blood and the doctor told me that I could give blood to anyone else safely. 

There is another problem. To give blood of the right kind doctors have to find a person of the right blood group. Often they cannot find a person in time. If they have a way to keep the blood until someone needs it，they can always have the right kind of blood. At first they find they can keep it in bottles for fifteen to twenty days. They do this by making it very cold. Then they find how to keep it longer. In the end they find a way of keeping blood for a very long time. 

We call a place where we keep money a"bank". We call a place where we keep blood a"blood bank". One day when you grow up，you may decide to give blood to a"blood bank". In this way you may stop someone from dying. Or perhaps one day you may become ill. You may need blood. 

The"blood bank"will give it to you.
