Tips for Keeping Your Body Healthy

    It is not common for the human body to sit for a long time in the old days. But now sitting for a long time every day is common. Sitting for a long time is dangerous for your health. You can hurt your arms and your neck.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} 

    People who work in offices often have health problems. People who travel many hours on planes often say they feel bad at the end of a long trip. The following tips can help you if you don't want any problems.

    Sit correctly. Keep your back straight and your feet on the floor. It is very necessary to have a comfortable chair.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}.

    Take breaks often. Don't sit for more than thirty minutes{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Having a break can help you do more work in the day.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Water cleans your body and keeps healthy. It's good for you and gives you energy. But please don't drink lots of coffee or tea.

    Move your body. Stretching (拉伸) is a simple and quick way of moving your body while you are sitting down. Stretch your arms, your hands and your shoulders.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

    Harbin Opera House (哈尔滨大剧院) lies on Harbin Cultural Island, near the Songhua River. It took people about six years to complete the whole project and it opened in 2015. Its building style belongs to a future time. With the size of 7,900m², it is considered as the performing arts centre in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. Its special surface allows more light to enter. Its two theaters, the large theatre and the small one, can hold about 2,000 people. The project is a complete success. Harbin Opera House has enjoyed many prizes and great fame from home and abroad since people began to plan it. People say it's one of the most beautiful buildings in China and it is the world's best concert halls. There is no doubt that it has become the new symbol of Harbin.

    The sun was falling behind the hills. Andrea was driving back home to Brockboune. Then she saw an old lady, standing by the toad, with a sign saying "Brockboune" in her hand.

    Andrea stopped the car. When the old lady got in, Andrea could see that she was not that little. She was in a long dress and had a hat pulled down low over her eyes. She put her big brown shopping bag down onto the floor.

    "Do you live in Brockboune?" asked Andrea. "No, dear," answered the old lady in a low voice, "I'm just going to visit a friend, but my car won't start, so I decided to hitchhike."

    Something in the way the lady spoke made Andrea uneasy, Andrea secretly studied the half-covered face, the shapeless body, the arms with their thick black hairs… Thick black hairs? Andrea's blood froze. This wasn't a woman. It was a man!

    Her heart was beating wildly and her mind raced. Then suddenly, an idea came up to her. She stopped the car in a sudden. "My God!" she shouted, "A child! Did you see the child? I think I hit her!" "I didn't see anything", the "old lady" said, "I don't think you hit anything." "I'm sure it was a child!" shouted Andrea. "Could you just get out and have a look?" The "old lady" slowly opened the car door, leaving her bag inside. As soon as "she" was out of the car, Andrea drove away as soon as possible.

    Several minutes later, Andrea thought about the "old lady's" bag and opened it carefully. There was only one thing in it—a shining knife.

    The school trip is useful. It is one of the ways for students to be in the real life. But sometimes, it may not be good as you think.

    We had a terrible school trip yesterday. Some students were late for the early bus. Then we had to wait for the next bus. We waited for a long time but it didn't arrive. In the end. Our teacher took us to take the subway. 花了我们大约一个小时。 After we got off the subway, we walked and got lost. When we finally arrived at the zoo just at noon. We were tired and hungry. We wanted to see pandas, but there weren't any. There were some really smart elephants, but we didn't see the show because we arrived too late. We left our cameras (照相机)at school, so we didn't take any photos. Then it rained，and no one had an umbrella. We went for lunch. But there wasn't any restaurant in the zoo. My friends had some ice-cream. But I didn't have any, because I don't like it. We didn't see many animals because of the rain. We left the zoo at 5 p.m. when the rain stops. At last, we went back to school. We were really tired. I didn't enjoy my school trip at all.

    World Environment Day is on June 5th every year in the world. It makes people realize the problems of our earth. From June 5th to 16th of 1972, the UN had a meeting in the capital(首都) of Sweden(瑞典)—Stockholm. This was the first meeting to study how to protect the environment. We have only one earth, so everyone should do something to protect our earth. We should try to do the 3Rs every day—reduce(减少), reuse and recycle(循环). We should buy things without lots of packaging(包装). Use many things in our neighborhood—They don't have to travel very far and so they can reduce pollution. Recycle all the things you use. Carry reusable bag for shopping.

At home, we should try to save water and electricity every day. When we go out, we'd better walk, ride bikes or take a bus. Try to plant more trees and use less paper to protect the forests on the earth. And we should see every day as World Environment Day and try to do anything to help our environment.
