A long time ago, there was an apple tree. A little kid enjoyed playing around it and taking a rest under it. Also, he wanted to pick some apples from the tree. As a 5-year-old boy, he was short so he 1 to climb to the top of the tree to get the apples and ate them. He really had fun playing with the tree. He loved the tree and the tree loved him at that time.

Time went by. The boy 2 and he didn't play with the tree. One day, the boy came back to the tree. "Come and play with me." the tree said.

"I dislike playing around the tree now. I want toys. Toys are more interesting for me. I need money to buy them."

"I don't have money, but you can pick my apples and sell them." The boy was happy and climbed the tree and picked all the apples 3 the tree and left.

After a long time, the boy was already a man. He was much taller than before. He could touch the branches (树枝) of the tree 4 without climbing up. He came back to the tree. "I need a house for my family."

"You can cut my branches to build one." 5 the boy cut all the branches of the tree and left. He didn't come back. The tree missed him so much and felt sad.

Recently videos of a man dancing have become popular online. He is Ma Jiaolong, a Chinese dancer. Ma has nearly 5 million followers on Douyin, a short﹣ video platform（平台）in China. "I was surprised because I didn't think that the videos would go viral. " says the 35﹣year﹣old dancer. 

Ma began teaching Chinese classical （古典的） dance at Goldsmiths, University of London, three years ago. He started making videos when his teaching job was affected（受影响） by COVID﹣19. Like many other teachers, Ma had to give online classes. Besides teaching, he trained at home for at least two hours a day. However, Ma couldn't make big moves because his home was small. One day, Ma and his wife went to a supermarket and passed Greenwich Park. Ma's wife said to him, "Why not do some dance moves here that you couldn't do at home？" Then Ma jumped off the ground and did a dance move, which was filmed by his wife on her phone. 

"Back home, I sent the video to my friends. To my surprise, they loved it and I decided to share it online, " says Ma. Later, he made more short videos and put them online. 

After Ma's videos got popular, he got lots of messages from people around the world. "Now, making and sharing short videos has become a part of my life. Most importantly, it's a great way to show Chinese classical dance to more people. " says Ma. "It's always been my dream to offer people worldwide a chance to understand traditional Chinese culture. " Ma says. 

Chinese people have been celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and enjoying mooncakes for many hundred years.  Mooncakes are in the shape of a full moon on that night.  They carry people's wishes to the families. 

There are many traditional {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (story) about this festival.  However, most people think that the story of Chang'e is the-most interesting.  Chang'e was Hou Yi's {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (beauty) wife.  After Hou Yi shot the nine suns, a goddess (女神仙) {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (give) him a magic medicine to thank him.  She told him that when he took the medicine, he could live forever.  So Hou Yi planned {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (take) it with Chang'e.  However, a bad man, Pang Meng, tried to take the medicine when Hou Yi was not at home.  Chang'e didn't want to give it to him and took it all herself.  She became very light {#blank#}5{#/blank#} flew up to the moon.  When Hou Yi went back home, he saw his wife smiling at him and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (hold) a rabbit on the moon.  Hou Yi was so sad that he called out her name to the moon every night.  One night, he found that the moon was very bright and round.  And he could even see {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (he) wife there.  He {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (quick) put her favourite mooncakes in the garden.  How he wished that Chang'e could come back!
