Once there was a man and a woman. They had been married for more than 60 years. They kept no secrets from each other except that the old woman had a shoe box under her bed. She told her husband never to open or ask about it.

For all these years， he had never thought about the box. But one day the old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would never get better.

The woman said it was time that he should know what was in the box. The old man took the shoe box to his wife's bedside.

When he opened it， he found two beautiful doilies(装饰小垫) and some money. The money was $25,000.

“When we got married，”she said,“my grandmother told me that the secret of a happy family was never to fight. She told me if every time I got angry with you， I should just keep quiet and crochet(编织) one doily.”

The old man was so moved because only two doilies were in the box. He thought she had only been angry with him twice in all those years.

“My dear，”he said， but what about all the money？ Where did it all come from？”

“Oh，”she said，“that's the money I made from selling the doilies. So far， I have sold 2,500 doilies.”

    Hershey chocolate is famous around the world. The man who began it, Milton Hershey, was glad to share the fruits of success with others.

    Milton Hershey was born on 13 September, 1857. In 1871, he started working for a local printer. But he didn't like this kind of work and ended the job quickly. Later, he helped make candy in a factory. After a few years, Milton knew that he was a good candy maker and he wanted to start his own candy business. In 1886, he started a caramel (焦糖) business, and four years later his business was very successful. After seeing how chocolate was made. Milton loved it right away. He got married and sold the caramel company for one million dollars and opened up a chocolate factory.

    Milton built a town with houses, schools, and stores so the workers in his factory could live nearby. As Milton made more money, he built a school for orphans (孤儿). When his wife died, Milton took all of his money and gave it to the school to help those children. He also set up the M. S. Hershey Foundation to help people get an education.

    Milton Hershey died in 1945, but the world remembers him for not only making chocolate, but for his work to help people. He is someone who built a town and helped people get jobs. He is someone who built a school for children who did not have families. He is someone who helped those who were sick and someone who made that chocolate, that delicious chocolate which most of us throughout me world enjoy.

Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei. it is a beautiful, large and very important city in China. During last Spring Festival, the city received much tons of attention because a novel corona—virus (新型冠状病毒) appeared there and spread around the country. Several days before the Spring Festival，Wuhan was locked and the city became quiet and still. 

A big fight against the novel corona— virus was going on there. The doctors and nurses there became brave warriors (勇士) in masks (口罩), glasses and protective suits. Many of them had to work over ten hours every day drinking little or no water. They risked their health and even lives to treat the patients. Thousands of doctors and nurses from other cities and provinces in China went to Wuhan to support them. There is no doubt that they were all heroes in the fight. 

Besides doctors and nurses, everyone in our country was doing their own part in the fight against the novel corona—virus. 

That Spring festival was not as fun as it usually is. It even brought us to tears many times. However， we will never forget those difficult days, not only for the awful virus, but also for the efforts we made together and the lessons we learned. 

In the Jin Dynasty ( 朝 代 ), there lived a man named Le Guang. He was very1 , and he always invited his friends to his home. One day, Le Guang visited one of his best friends who didn't come to see him for a long span of time.
