Mr White works in an office. He liked reading in bed when he was at school. It was bad for his    1  and now he has near-sight(近视). But he wouldn't want  2to know about it and he never wears a pair of glasses. It often  3 him some trouble.

    One winter morning he was sent to a village school on business(出差). He  4a bus at a stop in a small town. Then he had to walk there. The road to the village wasn't smooth (平坦的). He fell over some times and it 5 his clothes dirty.  6 he got to the village. Suddenly it began to blow and it got colder. He was looking for the school while his 7  was blown off. Do you know Zhai Zhigang? He was born {#blank#}1{#/blank#} October 1966 in Heilongjiang Province. According to his clothes, you can guess that he is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} astronaut.

As early as 2008, China sent {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(he) into space. He was the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(three) astronaut into the space in China. At that time, Zhai wore an about $30 million Chinese-made suit weighing 120kg. Liu Boming wore a Russian-made one {#blank#}5{#/blank#} acted as a backup (后援). On this flight, Chinese people {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(leave) their footprints in space for the first time. The only two {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(country) that have sent people into space are Russia and the United States.

"I'm feeling {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (real) well. I want to say hello to the Chinese people and the people of the world," Zhai said after {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(climb) out of the spaceship at around 9:56 am, 16th April 2022(Beijing time), Tens of millions of the Chinese were so {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(excite) and waiting before TV screens to watch the moment when Shenzhou-12 returned to the earth. How proud we Chinese people are!

One year, a British expedition（探险队）got lost in the Sahara Desert（撒哈拉沙漠）. The sun was burning hot. Everyone quickly ran out of {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. If they made a wrong decision, then they could all {#blank#}2{#/blank#} soon. 

At this time, the leader took out a water kettle （壶）and said, "I found a kettle of water in my bag. But before we pass through the desert, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} is allowed to drink it." The kettle of water {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the faith（信心）for everyone to cross the desert. .

In fact, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} hard time you face, as long as there is a seed of faith in your heart, don't give up {#blank#}10{#/blank#} , then you'll succeed（成功）.

In a small village in Henan, there is a cool teacher named Zhang Jiantao. He teaches science at a primary school in the village. Mr. Zhang loves working on experiments (实验) with his students and making them laugh and learn at the same time. 

Mr. Zhang's experiments are so fun that the kids can't wait for the next one. They often ask, " When can we do science experiments, Mr. Zhang?" Mr. Zhang notices their excitement and tries to do more. He enjoys it when he sees the kids excited about science. 

Mr. Zhang doesn't have enough equipment ( 器 材 ) for his experiments in the school, but that doesn't stop him! He uses what he has around him, " Old bottles can be helpful in our experiments!" says Mr. Zhang. " We can turn waste into treasure. " He shows the kids that old bottles can come in handy for many experiments. He uses them to create amazing things, like water rockets. With little money and plenty of waste, he is trying his best to make science easy and fun to learn. 

As time passes, Mr. Zhang's passion(激情) for teaching science grows stronger. He wants more kids to

learn and have fun with science, especially in the countryside. He wants to share his experiments with other teachers. He dreams of creating a science textbook for them. That way, more kids can enjoy the wonders of science, just like his students. 

There was a space exhibition(展览) today. It was the 1  exhibition in my town because the next exhibition will be in six months. So when I heard the 2  , I decided to go there with my parents. The space exhibition was showing when we just 3  there. As we walked in, we saw a huge model of a 4  . This made people know about the living places of astronauts in space. 

Then we 5  the next exhibition area. There we saw models of all the 6  in our solar system. Our earth is one of them. It is blue 7  more than 70% of its surface(表面) is covered with water. I have read books 8  this fact, but seeing this model in real life is a new experience. 

I felt pleased to have the chance to 9  lots of things about space and the universe. I haven't thought about my future job 10  . But after seeing the exhibition, I decided to study hard.
