Summer Holidays(暑假) in England

    With July coming, the summer holidays begin. Boys and girls will have 60 days to rest. The weather is good. Parents will take their children to the seaside(海边) for the holidays. The children like the sand(沙子), the sun, the cool wind and the water. Certainly there are lots of things to see, good things to eat, and exciting things to do. They can play ball games. They can go on field trips, too. They study real things on the field trips. What good holidays!

    Mr. White lives in the countryside with his wife, Mrs. White. From Monday to Friday he works in a small office near his house. He is free on Saturdays and Sundays. He has a nice garden near his house. He likes growing flowers and he usually works in the garden on Saturdays and Sundays. The flowers are colourful and beautiful. Mrs. White likes them very much. She often helps Mr. White. They live happily together.

    Hello, I'm Lingling. Today is my birthday. I am nine now. My friends Ben, Tom, Janet, Xiaoming, Amy, Lily and Pingping are coming. They have some gifts for me. Look! This is a big doll. It's purple. That is a green plane. What's this? It's a brown bear. What's that on the table? It's a red ball. What's in the bag? It's a yellow bike. What's under the chair? It's a blue car.     Hello, everyone. This was my room five years ago. There was a map on the wall. There was a desk and my school bag always on it. The desk was near the window. The bed was clean, and the rain boots was under it. My room was small but nice. I loved my room very much!
