The "tiger" with the most beautiful sound

The tiger with the most beautiful sound is Chunyu，an ancient musical instrument（乐器）.If you want to visit it，you can go to Shifang Museum，Sichuan Province.It has a tiger﹣shaped handle（手柄）.At the very beginning，Chinese people used Chunyu in wars.

Then people used it in parties.

The most expensive "tiger"

In 2010，a tiger painting by a Chinese artist Qi Baishi was sold at a price of ＄3.6 million in Hong Kong.Among only several tiger paintings made by Qi，this one was a birthday gift to his good friend Yang Hu.It is different from most China's tiger paintings because Qi painted this tiger from its back.But people can still feel how strong the tiger is without seeing its face.

The loveliest "tiger"

Tiger﹣head shoes are the traditional shoes for children in China.The name comes from the toe cap（鞋头） because it looks like the head of a tiger.In the north of China，people also call them cat﹣head shoes.They are mostly red and yellow.Chinese people make the tiger﹣head shoes for the kids and hope that their kids can be as strong as tigers.

Who Sleeps the Most?

 All animals make time for sleeping. They sleep in different ways. Cows and sheep sleep standing up, and bats sleep upside down. Many birds sleep with their heads put under their wings. Different animals sleep different amounts (量) of time. Grazing(食草) animals need to eat most of the day. Those animals may spend shorter time sleeping than other animals do.

Mainly in Sichuan, also in Shanxi and Gansu.

Why they are in danger:

They don't have enough food. They don't give birth to many babies.

Fun facts:

A new baby panda is as small as a mouse.

Pandas spend almost the whole day eating. But they only take in 20% of what they eat.

Pandas poop（排便）over 12 times a day. Pandas have been on the earth for about 3 million years.

Siberian Tigers（东北虎）Where they live:

Northeastern China and Russia.

Why they are in danger:

People hunt them and destory their habitat（栖息地）. Baby tigers are weak and often die early.

Fun facts:

A father tiger always leaves his family without saying goodbye. Then the mother tiger takes care of the babies. She is very careful. She hides her babies when she goes out hunting, and takes a different way home.
