    Today is the last day of my exams. The maths exam is very difficult, but other exams are easy. I'mwaiting for the holidays now, and I'm very anxious to see you and to be with you again. I'm going to spend my Christmas and New Year holidays in New York with my sister. I'm going down town. I'm going to go shopping for Christmas gifts. I'm excited about Christmas, and about seeing you again.

    Tina was a ten-year-old girl from England. Two weeks before the 2004 Christmas holiday, her teacher was talking about tsunamis（海啸） in a geography（地理） class at school. This helped her save lives on December 26th, 2004.On that morning, Tina and her family were walking on the Beach and enjoying the sun. Then suddenly, the water went out very far. It was bubbling, too. She told her mother at once. Her mum didn't understand. Tina was very sad. She shouted to her dad. He warned others and everyone left the beach. Because of her warning, the hotel workers quickly helped 100 guests get to a safer place.

    I am Chen Jie. I usually get up at 7 o'clock but not on the weekend. I go to school at 7:30. We have four classes in the morning and three classes in the afternoon. I like Chinese very much. We have a Chinese class at 9:30. I go home at 5:30 pm. I eat dinner at 6:30 pm. Then I do my homework at nine o'clock.

    Jack has classes from Monday to Friday. Today is the last(最后的) day of week so Jack will have a picnic in the park with his parents. He gets up at 8:00 and have breakfast at 8:30. At 9:00, they go to park on foot. Jack' mum brings some fruits and Jack's dad brings cakes. Look! Jack is flying a kite. The part is very beautiful(美丽的). Butterflies fly everywhere and flowers are very beautiful, too. They all like having a picnic in the park.
