The sun was going down when we arrived at the ground floor of the building. I was afraid of going to the top of tall buildings, so I was a little   {#blank#}1{#/blank#}   when I walked into a lift. The lift climbed faster and faster  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  we reached the 88th floor. It  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}   high up there, but I was not afraid when I stood at the top.

  The Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai is 420.5   {#blank#}4{#/blank#}   high. It is one of the tallest buildings in the world. It {#blank#}5{#/blank#}    in 1999, and it has a fantastic view of Pudong District and the centre of Shanghai. I really like t he tower and I am sure I will visit it again.

    An artist saw a beggar(乞丐)at the train station one day. He gave his last few {#blank#}1{#/blank#}to the beggar. Then he saw another one, and forgot that he had no money in his pockets. He asked the man{#blank#}2{#/blank#} if he would like to have lunch with him. The beggar agreed without{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. So they had a good meal together.

    In the end, he said to the beggar," Come home with {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in a taxi, my friend. And I'll give you the money back".

    "No way!" the beggar{#blank#}5{#/blank#} at once." I've paid for your lunch. I' m not going to pay for your taxi home!"
