I have struggled with feelings of unworthiness since forever. My most painful moments were at parties. My friends made fun of me because I was rhythmically (有节奏地)1 and I couldn't get my2 body to imitate the latest dance moves. I was never chosen to dance. I felt like I didn't3 . 

Around age 12, I decided that the way to4 these feelings of unworthiness was perfection. If I was just perfect then I would fit in. But this strategy didn't5 .My self-esteem (自尊心) was high when I got good grades and felt6 , but crashed when I didn't do well7 , or was left out. 

After several years of spiritual growth, it8 me that for many of us, self-worth is tied to our9 . We experience low self-worth10 we fail or lose approval. So I have begun to cultivate an unconditional self-worth. It's not about doing things perfectly.11 , "Unconditional self-worth" is the12 that you deserve to be alive, to be loved and cared for. 

The13 to unconditional self-worth is not always easy. It takes courage to free yourself from the 14 you've placed on your worth. But this journey is beautiful and worth taking. So I challenge you to embrace yourselves and find your metaphorical (隐喻的) 15 floor and move freely.

In a small town lived Matthew, a diligent（勤奋的） youth with a passion for English. Nevertheless, he was completely  1  of the online world, leading him topav a heavy  2  in a case later.

One day, Matthew received an email from a stranger, claiming by 3  a special English learning material, he could easily improve his grades. The email also 4 several success stories, which convinced. Matthew. He followed the instructions and transferred much money to the sender's 5 . Receiving the material, he found it worthless. Matthew felt 6 and regretful, yet powerless.

However, the story didn't 7 there. After the setback, Matthew began to  8 the world of online scams （诈骗）. Discovering similar ones, he decided to use his English skills to expose them on social media, and  9  people to be watchful of online scams.

Matthew's story spread throughout the town. People expressed their 10 and support. With his assistance, many people escaped online scams. Everyone needs to 11 learn about relevant knowledge so as to enhance their awareness of 12 .

The Internet isn't without risks. When we 13 setbacks, don't give up. It's these experiences that make us more mature and cherish our 14  and privacy. Let's unite to establish a safe and 15 online environment!

One teacher had two students. One of them had a positive vision while the other had the 1 one.

One day, the teacher 2 for a park with both the students and while wandering in the garden, they 3 a mango tree from which some ripe and juicy mangoes were 4 . On seeing this, the teacher thought to 5 both of his students. Then, he asked the first one, "My dear child, what do you think of this mango tree?"

The student answered instantly, "Teacher, in spite of people 6 this tree with stones, it gives us sweet and juicy mangoes. It does 7 but still it gives us fruits. I wish all human beings learn this important 8 from the mango tree-to share their 9 even if they have to suffer for this."

After that, the teacher asked the other student the same question. The student 10 answered, "Teacher, this mango tree is no good and will not give mangoes by itself but only when we hit it with stones and 11 . Therefore, we should hit it hard to get sweet mangoes from it. That is the only way to 12 these mangoes. It is also clear from this tree that in order to get good 13 from others, we need to be violent and only when we become violent, then and only then will we get 14 ."

The teacher was delighted with the answer given by the first student because he had an admirable vision and 15 the tree with positive vision.

Lanrick Jr. Bennett holds a unique title in Toronto: bicycle mayor. He led a Halloween Kidical Mass ride recently, which I attended with my daughter, son-in-law, their two dogs, and my granddaughter. He is working towards making cycling mainstream and safe for all residents in the city. I did not know that Toronto had a bicycle mayor; I surely would have voted for him in an election.

The bicycle mayor program is run by BYCS, an Amsterdam-based global NGO that believes "bicycles transform cities and cities transform the world". Standing in the strange but wonderful Bentway, a park built under an elevated expressway, Bennett says, "BYCS has 150 bicycle mayors across the world. And through a few friends putting in some really nice letters of encouragement, BYCS offered me a two-year term as an advocate here in the city of Toronto, becoming the first bicycle mayor of the city."

Bennett says he is boosting the work being done to make cycling more mainstream in Toronto. "I am giving a bit more exposure to the great work that has allowed me to be able to ride a bike throughout the city. It's getting better, we're seeing more infrastructure（基础设施）, and we're seeing more people not wanting to depend on cars as their primary piece. I'm happy that I have been part of a fantastic group thus far," says Bennett.

Since there's still a lot of work to do, Lanrick Jr. Bennett has been working hard to improve cycling conditions in Toronto, and his efforts have been recognized by the community. He has been advocating for more bike lanes（车道）, better lighting, and other safety measures to make cycling a practical option for commuters（通勤者）. It's great to see people like Lanrick

Jr. Bennett working towards making cycling safe and accessible for all residents.

Books have tremendous power. Between their pages, readers can be transported to anywhere imaginable and become just about anyone or anything. Unfortunately, many children all over the world don't have access to books. For several years now, Maria Keller, a 14-year-old girl from Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been changing that fact.

When she was 8 years old, Maria already loved reading. She also noticed that some of her classmates didn't read as much as she did. When she asked her mother why that could be, her mother said that they might not be able to afford books. Maria had never thought of this. She could not believe that some children might not have bedtime stories read to them. She became determined to change this.

With her mother's help, Maria created Read Indeed. Read Indeed is a non-profit organization aiming to collect and distribute(分发) books to children in need. During the early stages of Read Indeed, Maria set the goal to collect and distribute 1 million books by the time she was 18. It didn't take long to reach that goal.

Today, at age 14, she has collected over 1.8 million books and has shipped them to many states and countries around the world. She says, "I cannot live without books. As I continue my mission, I have learned that the number of kids who have no books are in the hundreds of millions. So I just can't give up, even after reaching my original goal of 1 million books distributed."

She recently set a new goal: to distribute donations to kids in need in every state in the United States, and every country in the world. She keeps track of her progress on a large map at the warehouse(仓库) where they store and sort books. Maria believes that she can get support from even more people and help kids around the world to become better readers!

Spanish class scared me in the freshman year.I knew little Spanish before starting the class，and I thought it would be1 for me.However，Mary，our honored Spanish teacher，who was full of creativity，made her class fun from the beginning.I knew what to expect with a schedule for each week，but there was always some slight 2 . 

Before the exam，Mary often asked us to 3 our lessons by ourselves.But I could remember one day she said， "This time，let's play a game before going over what you've learned." The game was so interesting that we all 4 ourselves.After the exam，Mary gave us opportunities to make up for our 5 .After each error correction，she would check again.She took things so 6 that she wouldn't overlook any detail.No wonder she was 7 by us. 

Mary was 8 and willing to help，within reason，on everything.We could ask her questions at any time.She encouraged everyone to speak Spanish in class.Because of that，I was 9 enough，and then I could communicate with Spanish speakers outside of class.When she knew our problems，she would give advice.When someone was struggling，she would 10 . 

Mary's 11 teaching eventually transformed my 12 into fascination.She infused （灌输） foreign culture into lessons，using music and dance to 13 our language skills.Her personalized attention to each student's needs fostered a（n）14 environment.At the end of the term，my Spanish improved，and my confidence soared.Mary left a lasting impact on my 15 for new challenges.
