It was Molly's job to hand her father his paper lunch bag each morning before he left home to work.

    One morning, besides his 1 lunch bag. Molly handed him a second paper bag, which looked a bit old.

    "Why two bags?" her father asked. "The other is something else," Molly answered. "What's in it?" "Just something. Take it with you."

    He put2 paper bags into his briefcase (公文包), kissed Molly and rushed off. At noon he opened Molly's bag and took out all the things: a small Teddy bear, 2 tiny sea shells (贝壳), 5 small stones, and 12 coins…The 3 father smiled, finished eating, and swept the desk clean into the wastebasket, Molly's things in the bag included, and then put himself into the afternoon work.

    That evening, Molly ran up to him 4 he was reading the newspaper.

    "Where's my bag?" "What's bag?" "The one I gave you this morning."

"I 5 it at the office. Why?" "I forgot to put this 6 in it," she said. "And, besides, Daddy, the things in the bag are the things I really like—I thought you might like to 7 with them. You didn't lose the bag, did you, Daddy?"

    "Oh, no. I just forgot to bring it home." he 8.

    While Molly hugged (拥抱) her father's neck, he opened the note that read: "I love you, Daddy." Molly had given him her 9 —all that a 7-year-old held.

    Love in a paper bag, and he 10 it. He had even thrown it in the wastebasket. So back he went hurriedly to the 11. Just before the night cleaner, he found all the things back and carried the bag home 12 .

    After dinner, he asked Molly to tell him about the things in the bag. It 13 a long time to tell. 14 had a story or a memory.

    The life journey with the people we love is all that really matters. It is such a simple 15  but it is so easily forgotten.

    My stutter(口吃) had always been much of a problem. I'd had so many specialists(专家) for my speech over the years. It hurt me until I met a new one in the hall.

    "Hello! I'm Mrs. Claussen. I hear you're from Texas!"

    "Ye-Ye-Ye-Yes m-m-m-m-m-m-aam I am..."My heart felt like it was pounding (剧烈跳动)through my chest and my hands were dripping wet.

    "Well," she said with a 1smile. "I've always like Texas."

    She turned out to be the best speech specialist I've ever had, not like 2who told me to clap my hands while speaking. She was different from others. She spent the first several weeks just talking to me — asking me all kinds of questions about myself, 3my feelings. And she listened. She then began to teach me about the speech. Not just about my speech, but about everybody's.

    I 4in my old school and was a pretty good tenor(男高音), but I learned that the new school's singing group was all 5. It was such bad news, for I thought that was the one thing I could really do well- and I could do it .However, Mrs. Claussen finally got me in the group. I felt like she really cared about me as a person, not just a 6student.

    During the next two years, my speech didn't get much better - except with her. When I was in college(大学), things got worse. I once even wanted to know 7I would ever be able to communicate! It was a very sad time, and I often felt alone. When I was feeling really sorry for myself, I remembered Mrs. Claussen had told me whether I could change my speech was all up to me. She had told me to fight for perfect speech, just 8speech. She was right about that. I finally improved my speech greatly.

    Many years have passed, but I think of her from time to time, wondering (想知道)if she had as much 9on her other students as she had on me. I like to think that she did. Her name was Mrs. Claussen... and she 10me. I'll never forget her.

Many years ago, when I was working as a volunteer(志愿者)at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Lisa. The poor little girl had a very serious disease and was dying. The doctor had done his best but no medicine really worked. The only chance to save her seemed to be a blood transfusion(输血)from her five-year-old brother. The little boy had the same disease before and had developed the antibodies(抗体)to fight the illness.

    The doctor talked to me little boy about what they planned to do, and asked him if he would be willing(愿意的)to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate(迟疑)for a moment. He took a deep breath and said, "Yes, I'll do it if it can save Lisa."

    As the transfusion was going on, the little boy lay quietly in bed next to his sister. He looked at her and smiled all the time. When everything was done and the color returned to his sister's face, his smile disappeared and he looked a little afraid. He looked up at the doctor and asked, "Will I start to die now?"

    He was too young to understand the doctor. He thought he would have to give all his blood to his sister, but he agreed.

Bill was a boy of 15. His parents went to gambling (赌博) day and night. 

Nobody cared about him. He always failed in his exams. So his teachers didn't like him, nor did his classmates play with him. Bill often slept in class because his heart was not in school. He almost gave himself up. 

One day, Miss Jones, a new teacher, came to Bill's class. She was a smiling, beautiful woman. Bill was in love! For the first time in his young life, he couldn't take his eyes off his teacher. 

It was Miss Jones' class. She was asking a question. "I'd like the smartest boy to answer my question. " Then she said loudly, "Bill, please!" Bill was surprised. And he stood up without a word. 

"Just try it! I believe you can!" After school, Miss Jones had a long talk with Bill. She told him that she cared about him and believed in him. 

Bill thought a lot that evening. From then on, he arrived at school on time every day. Miss Jones helped him with his homework in the afternoon. She even cooked delicious food for him. She told Bill, "Nothing is impossible if you put your heart in it. "

Later, Miss Jones gave another exam. Bill did it with all his heart. He was very excited to find that he had passed the exam. Now Bill discovered that not only could he learn, but he could do it well. A change took place in Bill's heart. 

You see, one teacher saved one boy. It's simple, really. 

Vanilla is my best friend. She is a lovely girl with two big, beautiful 1 . But she always hides them 2 a pair of black glasses. 

One day, however, I 3 ended our friendship. I remember that day clearly. We were sitting in the 4 . The teacher was handing back our 5 exam papers. I had done very badly. I was never good at 6 maths problems. I felt so 7 that I wouldn't speak to anyone. At lunchtime, I stayed in the classroom alone. Suddenly, I heard a 8 . It was Vanilla. " You look very unhappy, " she said quietly. " What's wrong?"I looked at her for a while, but said 9 . I knew Vanilla had got a good grade in the exam. I thought she was 10 me. I stayed silent, but Vanilla didn't go away. She kept asking me questions, " Is it because of the exam? Do you want me to tell you the right 11 ?"I looked away from her. When I looked up again, Vanilla had gone. And so had my exam paper! I didn't know what to do. I looked for my paper everywhere, but couldn't find 12 . 

In the afternoon, Vanilla came up to my desk and gave my exam paper 13 to me. I looked at it and got a big surprise. Vanilla had written the correct answers next to every one of my mistakes. How 14 she was! My face turned red. I held her hands and said, "Thank you." That afternoon, 15 Vanilla and I were on the way home, I felt quite happy and thanked her again. We are still best friends. 

I have a happy family. The {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(关系) between my family members is great. When I {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(完成) my everyday study, I often talk with my parents. My mum always gives me love and  care, and my dad never {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(拒绝) to help me. They always give me lots of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(支持) to help me grow up. With their help, I can s{#blank#}5{#/blank#} many problems in life. Family love is so warm and important.
