With our already busy lives, finding time to exercise can be impossible. So maybe it would help if there was ‘a best time' to exercise.

There are clear benefits to exercising in the morning. Many of us have more free time than later in the day, and it may be easier for us to keep a morning plan. A study found that people could sleep better when they exercised in the morning or had the physical activity during the whole day. Exercising on an empty stomach（空腹）before breakfast could also have less fat（脂肪）and keep healthier.

So, good news for early birds, but what if you're not a morning person? Working out in the afternoon or evening is also good, but different. For example, your body's ability reaches the highest level in the afternoon, according to a 2010 study. Also, in the afternoon and evening, your mind is the quickest, and your heart rate and blood（血）pressure are lowest, and you aren't getting hurt（受伤）easily when exercising.

But can this happen? Deciding on if you are a man or a woman? Our bodies are different, after all, so the best time to exercise may be different too. Want to reduce（降低）your blood pressure and you are a woman? Exercise in the morning. Want to improve your heart health and you are a man? Evening is better for you. But, a 2022 study found that it's both OK for them to exercise at either time of day.

So what time is best? It seems the answer is: whatever time is best for you!

Playing a sport well may not be easy at first, but don't worry--you can do it! The following are some tips for you.

____ If you don't know what sport you like to play, try a few! The P.E. class is usually a great chance to try new sports.

Get the right equipment. You can ask your parents for help. For example, you can ask your parents to buy you a pair of soccer shoes by doing housework for two months for them.

Practice, practice and practice. Practice playing your favorite sport with your friends as much as you can. If you don't have anyone to play with, then practice by yourself. Sometimes you may get the chance to make new friends when you play.

Eat healthily. A healthy body is very important in playing sports. Stop eating hamburgers and ice cream. Try to eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. Stop eating high-calorie foods like chocolates or cakes. Try to eat some healthy foods like carrots or apples.

Watch games. Watch games to see how the players play. The more games you watch, the more you will know about the sport

Billie Jean was full of energy! When the bell rang, she would rush outside and join any game. One teacher suggested she should be more "ladylike" and try not to win all the time, but her parents didn't agree.

"Play as well as you can and be the best you can be!" they told her.

Clyde taught her patiently. The more she learned, the more fun she had.

"I want to be the best tennis player in the world!" She asked her coach, "Clyde, can you make me a champion(冠军)?"

He just smiled, "No, Billie. ____."

Billie took his words to heart, so she kept practicing day and night.

One day, she was invited to the Los Angeles Club. All the players lined up to have their photos taken, but then a man came up.

"You can't be in the photo!" he said, "You're not wearing a skirt or dress!"

Billie was angry Her mum had made her shorts especially for her.

"Don't worry, Mom!" she told her mother. "I'll show them one day! Everybody will know who I am, and they'll all want to copy my style!"

And Billie did! She never gave up or let others tell her how she should behave. And she became one of the greatest and most famous sports stars ever!

Classical Chinese gardens are purposely designed so that no matter where you stand, you can never see the whole thing at once. The mystery and the discovery have helped the classical gardens of China, especially those in Suzhou, remain popular attractions after all these years. 

Put simply, the aim of a classical Chinese garden is to deepen one's admiration of nature. Besides just relaxing in nature, the classical Chinese gardens have another purpose—to inspire artistic expression like poetry, literature or painting. Nearly all Chinese gardens feature the things in the list below. 

Water

Water is a necessary thing that no Chinese garden can go without. The water in a garden typically symbolizes a lake or even the ocean. Water can even symbolize communication, movement and dreams. 

Rocks

Large rocks typically symbolize mountains. Many of the rocks in the Suzhou gardens come from Lake Tai, having been shaped by the flow of water over thousands of years. Smaller rocks are often on show in the fancy halls at a garden's entrance. This shows the appreciation the garden owners had of these rocks. 

Plants

You can't have a garden without plants. Different plants and flowers are used for either symbolic or aesthetic (美学的) purpose—or both. Bamboo, for example, represents strength. Flowers, meanwhile, add color to a garden, with each carrying a symbolic meaning of its own. 

Gates & Windows

Gates of different shapes divide different parts of a garden. The most common type of gate, the moon gate, is simply a circle. Windows are placed throughout the garden to allow the passage of light. You can also catch a glimpse of interesting trees or rocks on the other side from the window. 

Pavilions (亭)

In Chinese gardens, pavilions are usually placed in some of the best viewing places. Sometimes a pavilion is placed where one can see the reflection (倒影) of the moon at night, or in the best place to listen to the sound of rain on the leaves above. In the past, pavilions were also used as places for garden owners to reflect, paint and write poems.
