    It's a beautiful day in summer. There are many people on the beach. Mrs Guo and her two sons are on the beach, too. Look! Mrs Guo is swimming in the sea. She can swim fast. What are her sons doing? They are playing volleyball on the beach. There's a man under the umbrella. He's reading a book. Look! A little girl is collecting shells on the beach. She's very happy.

    There is a very nice library in our school. It is big and bright. It has all kinds of books and newspapers. We can borrow storybooks, English books and many other books there. We can also do some reading there. Jenny often does some reading by the window in the first reading room. Li Ming usually borrows some Science books from the library.

    I'm going to borrow an English storybook. Our English teacher often tells us that it is good to do some reading. And I will try my best to do it

    On Sunday morning. The sun is shining. We have no classes. We are playing in the park. Some girls are singing and dancing under a big tree. Some boys are climbing the hill. Tom is drawing near the lake. Mike and John are swimming in the lake. Where are Betty and Mary? They are sitting under a small tree. They are reading a book. We are very happy.

    This is Kitty. She likes reading books. She goes to the school library on Monday afternoon. She likes sports too. She plays volleyball with her friends on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday and Thursday, she plays the piano after school. On Friday evening, she plays games at home. At the weekend, she goes to the park with Jill.
