Summer Holidays(暑假) in England

    With July coming, the summer holidays begin. Boys and girls will have 60 days to rest. The weather is good. Parents will take their children to the seaside(海边) for the holidays. The children like the sand(沙子), the sun, the cool wind and the water. Certainly there are lots of things to see, good things to eat, and exciting things to do. They can play ball games. They can go on field trips, too. They study real things on the field trips. What good holidays!

      Children, your parents will come to our school at nine o'clock in the morning. I'll meet them at the school gate. First, I'll take the parents to the classroom. They will look at the homework and projects on the board. Next, they will go to the hall.You will sing four songs and act a short play for the parents. Then they'll go to the art room. You will show your parents some beautiful pictures. Finally, they'll have tea and cakes with the teachers in the meeting room. We'll talk to each other.

    Hello，I'm Danny．This is my day．I get up at seven o'clock every morning. I wash my face and get dressed(穿上衣服)．Then I have breakfast．After that I brush my teeth．I pack my bag and take nay lunch．I like sandwiches．I go to school by bus．I have four classes in the morning．I have lunch at twelve o'clock．Then I have two classes in the afternoon. I go home at half past three．I play with my friends or watch TV．Then I do my homework. I have dinner with my family．I have a shower and brush my teeth．I go to bed at eight o'clock．Busy day is finished．

    I had a dream last night. I was a taikonaut. Peter was in my dream. He was a taikonaut too. We were in a spaceship. We saw many stars in space. We went to Mars(火星). Mars was very cold. There was no water and no air. And there were no trees. But there were Martians(火星人). The Martians were very friendly. We became friends and played games. We had a lovely time!

    Hello, I'm Amy. On Saturday, I don't go to school. On Saturday morning, my mother is going to take me to the park. We are going to take the bus there. We are going to get there at ten o'clock. I like the beautiful park in Hangzhou. The flowers are coming out in spring. On Saturday afternoon, we are going to visit my grandparents. We are going to get there by subway. This Saturday is my grandmother's birthday. We are going to have a big dinner and eat the cake. What a fine day!

    Our future on Earth looks very bad. We are throwing rubbish on our land. We can't breathe the air. The sea is dirty, too. I visit some relatives recently in a small village. They grow their own food. They're not rich, but they are happy and healthy. We should close some factories, because they are producing useless products. That would reduce (减少) rubbish and air pollution. We should recycle more. and improve (提高) public transport. Overpopulation (人口过多) is a big problem in big cities. We should give up useless factories and get back to a simple way of life.
