Confidence (自信) is very important in daily life. It can help you to develop a healthy attitude. A study show that the people who are more confident are much happier. They can have more chance to make themselves successful. But how to be more confident? Here are some suggestions:

Speak loudly when you are not confident, you can't do well what you want to do. You speak in a voice so slow that other people can hardly hear you. Try to speak aloud enough so that people can hear you clearly. The high voice can help you become more confident.

Play sports Physical exercise makes you tired but completely relaxed. When you are athletic, you will be full of confidence.

Encourage yourself Write down a list of things you did during the day and see how many things you have done well. Did you finish your homework? Did you tell a joke that made everybody laugh? Give yourself praise for the good things you've done.

Get rid of (消除) fear Fear comes along with failure (失败). But it's easy to get over if you know that failure is a part of your life. Don't hide your head just because you said something foolish last time. Try to start again and believe you can do better.

Pick up a hobby If you like singing, singing as much as you can. In some ways, a hobby can make you outstanding. And it will make you happy and confident.

   India is the home of tigers. Every year many people are killed by tigers. The tiger, however, doesn't always eat men. It likes wild animals better. It is only when the tiger is old enough or wounded (受伤的) that it eats men. But when it tastes the meat of men, it will go on killing men for food. When a man-eater like this is discovered (发现)people are very afraid. They have to stop working in the fields.
   There are many ways to put an end to such dangerous animals. One way is that some men with long guns (枪) ride on elephants while other men drive the tiger towards them.
   For a hunter another way is to sit in a tree near the place where a tiger has eaten somebody. If the tiger returns for another meal, the hunter will kill it in the hiding place. A goat may be tied to the tree for the tiger to kill.
   The most dangerous way is to hunt a tiger on foot. But the man must be brave and can shoot well or he would be killed by the tiger.

You may feel lonely at break or lunchtime when a best friend isn't around—maybe because he or she moved to a different school or a different class. The best way to make friends is to be a friend. Be kind, be friendly, share, say nice things, offer to help —and pretty soon, you'll have one, or two, or even more new friends.
You might still miss that special best friend. But when you see each other, you can share something you didn't have before he or she left. You can introduce him or her to your new friends!

It is well known that everyone has his own dream as well as his own future. But do you know what future really is? I have to say that future is now. That is to say we must treasure(珍惜)every minute now. If we want to have a bright future, we should know how important time is and use it well.

There is an old English saying: "Gain time, gain life." Then what's time？ Time is something that we can't see or touch, but we can feel it passing by. Time is always with us. When we are at table, time passes; when we play, time goes by unnoticeable. We always say "Time is money", but time is even more precious(珍贵的)than money, because when money is spent , we can earn it back. But if time is gone away, it will never return. So, some of us even say time is priceless(无价的).
