Jane: I like Art. What about you, Alice?

Alice: I like Art, too.

Jane: Oh, we like the same（同样的）subject.

Alice: How many Art lessons do you have in a week（星期）?

Jane: Three. I like it. It's fun.

    Sam will go to Beijing with his parents on Sunday. He will take a kite, a ball and some toys. His mother will take some apples and some cakes. His father will take a camera(照相机) and a big bag. They will take photos.

    Of all the things we eat and drink, water is the most important. Nature has a great water system. Water is everywhere. It is in the air. It forms (组成) lakes and rivers. Water is in every living thing. It is in the most part of all the animals, plants and human beings (人类).

    People can use the water to carry goods and go around the world. People can also use the water to swim, have a bath, wash the food and clothes. Water is so important for every living thing, but man is polluting (污染) it. They throw rubbish into rivers. They pour waste water into lakes, rivers and seas. We must stop people from polluting the water right now. If not, the last drop of water will be our tear drop.

    Do you like to go to the library? We usually go to the library at weekends. There are many books and computers in it. We can read books or study on the computers. In the library, we can see some signs on the walls. We should stand in line when we go into the library. We can't eat or drink there. We can't talk loudly. We can't spit. We can't smoke. We can borrow books. But we must return books on time.

    The weather in Beijing is different (不同的) in four seasons (季节).

    In spring (春天)，children enjoy the warm weather and the cute birds. The trees and the grass turn green. The flowers come out. But sometimes the sand storms (沙尘暴) are terrible (可怕的).

    In summer (夏天), it is very hot. Most of the time it is sunny. Sometimes the temperature can be 30℃. People like to go swimming and eat ice cream. It is very cool.

    In autumn (秋天). It is good to fly a kite and pick all kinds of fruits in this season. Most of the time it is quite dry (干燥的).

    In winter(冬天), there are sand storms, too. It is very cold and dry. It can be -28℃. It snows hard. People can watch the beautiful snow and go skiing.

My friends Amy is a beautiful girl. She often does morning exercises on the weekend. She sometimes goes on a picnic with her friends. She likes swimming so much. So her favorite season is summer. She can go swimming every day. And she can also eat her favorite food ice cream and plays games with her friends on summer vacation. But her brother Tom doesn't like summer. He likes winter best, because he likes playing in the snow and making a snowman all the time. His birthday is in December. Everyone has their own favorite season. So which season do you like best?
