    Once upon a time，a rich man wanted to make a trip to another town. He tried not only to take things to sell but also to take money to1things with. He2to take ten servants（仆人）with him. They would3the things to sell and the food to 4on their trip. Before they started，a little boy ran up to5and asked to6with them.

    The rich man said to the little boy，“Well，7may go with us. 8you are the smallest，the thinnest and the weakest of all my9 ， you can't carry a10load（担子）. You must11the lightest one to carry. ”The boy thanked his master and chose the biggest load to carry. That was bread. "You are12." said his master, "That is the biggest and the heaviest one."     On the trip they walked for days and at last they got to the town. All the servants were very tired14the little servant. Do you know15? Most of the bread was eaten during the trip and a little was left when they arrived at the town.

    When George was thirty-five, he bought a small plane and learned to fly it. He soon became very good at it and made his plane do ①all kinds of tricks.

    George had a friend. His name was Mark. One day George wanted to take Mark up in his plane. Mark thought, "I've traveled in a big plane several times, but I've never been in a small one. So I'll do."

    They went up, and George flew around for half an hour and did all kind sof tricks in the air.

    When they came down again, Mark was very glad to be back ②safely, and he said to his friend in a shaking (颤抖的)voice ,"Well ,George, thank you very much for those two trips in your plane."

    George was very surprised and said, "Two trips?"

    "Yes, my first and my last," answered Mark.

"Hello, my friend, " he said, with a smile. 

What makes a true friend? I think a true friend {#blank#}1{#/blank#} always be ready to help others. I didn't believe it until (直到……才) one thing happened to me when I was eight years old.

My friend Wang Zhenhui always listened to his mother, and he never {#blank#}2{#/blank#} his mother's rules. But I was different. I didn't think it was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} for my mother to teach me everything. Wang Zhenhui knew all about that, but he said {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to me.

One day, Wang Zhenhui invited me to watch a movie. I liked it very much, so I went to the cinema with him happily. The movie was about the love {#blank#}5{#/blank#} a mother and a son. It really touched my{#blank#}6{#/blank#}. After watching it, I started to knowhow great the love of the mother was. I fel sorry for no listening to my mother before decided to think more about my mother {#blank#}7{#/blank#} about myself. After I told him my plan, Wang Zhenhui smiled and said, "This movie is really great. That's a good choice for {#blank#}8{#/blank#} you and me."

Suddenly, I knew{#blank#}9{#/blank#} we were at the cinema. I realized (意识到) a true friend is helpful. It's {#blank#}10{#/blank#} good to have a friend like Wang Zhenhui.

Today, students learn to do many things at school. But at North Shelby School, the students are doing something1 . They make biscuits (饼干) for dogs.

Who had the2 at first? It was Tenise Bester. She is a3 at the school. When she gave classes, she found some of her students were not active (活跃的) in class. To make them have4 in class, she decided to teach them to make something. She said, "They never tried making something by themselves before, 5 that doesn't matter. They all learn very carefully. I'm so6 to see that."
