Every morning, Toad gets up and knows he has a lot to do. He writes down all the 1 and makes a list（清单）:

Horses often sleep when standing up. If a horse lies down, it needs a long time to get up. A standing horse can escape more quickly when it sees dangerous things. And horses only need about three hours of sleep a day.
Giraffes sleep the shortest time. They sleep about 30 minutes a day, and 5 minutes at a time. They lie down when they sleep. They put their heads on their bodies or on the ground. What an interesting way of sleeping!

Biangbiang mian is a kind of traditional food in Xi'an. It has a history of about 2,000 years. When the cook puts the noodles against the chopping board（砧板）, the noodles make the sound "biang". In fact, there is an interesting story about the word "biang".
In old China, a scholar（秀才）goes to take exams. Unluckily, he meets some bad men on his way and loses（失去）all his money. He is very hungry. Then he sees a noodle shop and wants to eat a free bowl of noodles. He looks at the shop. There is no name for its noodles. He remembers his difficult trip.
