Pan Jianwei, " Father of quantum (量子) " , was born in Zhejiang in March 1970. After he at the University of Science and Technology of China from 1985 to 1995, Pan went to Vienna in 1996 for further studies and stayed there until 2001. Then he returned to the Chinese university as a physics professor and began to build a quantum science research team at the university. The team now includes about 50 , most of whom are also returnees  from overseas(海归) .

    He became a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences ( 中 科 院 ) in 2011. Of all the members, he was the one. In 2015, he was named the standing vice - president of the University of Science and Technology of China.

    Under his leadership, the world's first quantum satellite(卫星) was launched(发射) in August 2016.

    Pan Jianwei was recognized by Nature magazine on list of "10 people who mattered" in 2017.

    On the day of the interview, I got up at 6:00 in the morning. I got to the interview place without breakfast. I was the 16^th interviewer(应聘者) and the was a short ordinary-looking girl.     In today's world, sleep experts often say that for a better night's rest, Americans should turn their smart phones or iPads before sleeping. Such electronic products make the brain more , and then influence their sleep. But according to a latest survey, more than 90% of Americans regularly use a computer or some other of electronic products in the hour before bed.

    Researchers find that man-made light from some electronic products at night may reduce(减少) the brain chemicals that help . In the study, the researchers let volunteers read, play games and watch movies on a screen for different time while measuring much light their eyes received. They found that two hours of before a bright screen at night reduced the sleep chemical levels by about 22%.

    Then the researchers studied the college students often used computers at night. They got the results. And researchers say that may not only cause sleeplessness, but also the risk of obesity(肥胖症), diabetes(糖尿病) and other diseases.

    To be on the safe side, the researchers suggest that we should use computers than before, or turn down our screens as much as possible before sleeping.

    Once upon a time there was a man called Yue Yangzi in Henan who had a wife.

    One day, Yue picked up a piece of gold.     Wang Ping is a cleaner. He has  in a park for 5 years. He is also a good father. Nothing can make him than playing with his little daughter in his free time.

    Last Tuesday afternoon, while he was the park, suddenly, he heard a woman crying for help. He ran up to see what happened.     The planet Mars is the closest and most similar planet to Earth. It is veryto scientists. For example, Mars has seasons withweather, but other planets have the same temperatures all year round. Was thereon Mars?

    To find out, scientists needif Mars ever had water. In 2004. two robot explores (探测器), or 'rovers', called Spirit and Opportunity were sent to look forof water.
