    I got on my bike to take photographs of the nature. It was my school project what had to be finished today. I woke up much earlier than usual and left my house. It was still darker outside. When I arrived the lake, it was just at daybreak. The sky was pink but the sun was rising over the water. I sat on a rock next to the lake and watched the fish swimming in the water, listened to the birds singing in the wood nearby. Sudden, I realized I have forgotten my camera on the bike.     Last Sunday, I went to a shop to have my watch repair. After checking the watch, the shop assistant said she would call her manager to see that if this kind of problem could be fixed. As I was waiting the response from the manager, I saw an old man in a wheelchair roll himself over to the counter. No one seems to have noticed him, so I went over to his wheelchair and offered to give him some helps. Kindly as I was, I found that I could do something to help him. At that moment, the assistant replied that it would cost myself much money to fix this problem. I was very sad and about to leave the shop while the old man said, “You are a nice and thoughtful boy, but I would like to help you pay for it.”

    When I was eight, my father bought me the new bike for my birthday. My brother offered to teach me how to ride. At first, they rode and let me watching. Then he explained me the skills of controlling the bike. Still puzzling, I got on the bike, but it doesn't move as expected. I lost my balance and fall off the bike. At once I burst into tear because I saw blood on the ground. While I stood up, my left leg hurt bad. Later, I learned to ride a bike. But this experience told me that though some lessons were painful to learn them, yet we could benefit a lot.

    Being a senior student, I like English more than any other subject. Besides take English lessons at school, I go to the English Corner in the park where is near my home on Saturday mornings. It was set up two years ago, for purpose of helping students make progresses in English. Many high school students regular gather there. Sometimes some college students or even foreign friends are present at the English Corner. Here we practice spoken English, talking about what we are interested in and sharing with our experience in learning English. My English had been greatly improved since I attended them for the first time.
