When you are travelling by plane, there are some passengers you just don't want to have next to you.

    Perhaps you normally like them , but when you are sitting next to them on a plane it is a different thing. They usually spend all flight moving around and dropping their toys on the floor, and when they are drinking their orange juice ,it ends up on your trousers. Then they decide they want to play with you. So you can't have the little sleep.

     You can realize this type as soon as you sit down. They immediately start talking about the plane , or the weather, or they ask you a personal question. It is very difficult not to talk to these people . You'll probably have to keep talking until the plane landed.

    These are the people with white faces who sit down and immediately ask for something to drink. Every five minutes they call a flight attendant(服务生)to ask if there are any problems with the plane. They also tell you about air accident. The best thing to do is to pretend to sleep.

    These people are not necessarily very big. But they have a terrible habit of taking up all their room, and some of your room too. They usually sit with their arms and legs in your space.

    Summer holiday is from July to August in China .It ' s a long time for me to do all kinds of things .I like visiting some places of interest .And I like travelling by train .It takes me too much time ,but it saves money .Sometimes I stay at home and do my homework ,sometimes I help my parents do some house work .When my parents are free ,we often go to the park or the zoo ,and we have a good time there .I have a good summer holiday .

Wang Tao's Summer Holiday

    My summer holiday of this year was very enjoyable. I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays with my grandparents. It is very beautiful there. There are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals and kind people. I spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. Besides, I helped the children in the neighborhoods with their lessons. I helped them read English to improve their spoken English. Their parents thanked me for this and thought highly of me. I realized that knowledge is greatly needed in the countryside.

    Littering is a big problem in cities around the world. People know it does harm to the environment, but few do something for years to make a difference. However, "Butt Lady" sets an example to all.

    The true name of "Butt Lady" is Sally Dawly. She lives in Auburn, a city in California, US.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} because she had spent most of her free time picking up cigarette butts (香烟头) from the streets of her city. After picking up one million cigarette butts in three and a half years, she has set a new goal for herself-two million cigarette butts.

    Dawly got tired of going on her walks and seeing cigarette butts everywhere, so in 2014 she started to take action. Armed（装备）with a broom(扫帚), dustpan and a pair of tongs, the anti-littering activist walked down the streets in search of cigarette butts, picked them up and threw them in the trash can. To see how many butts she picks up, the Butt Lady has been using a counting device (装置).{#blank#}2{#/blank#} after picking up as many as 3,000 butts a day. She said she wanted to shout "Come on people. Don't throw your butts.{#blank#}3{#/blank#}."

    Dawly knows it's not easy to completely solve her city's cigarette butt littering problem in no time, but she hopes her efforts will help smokers think twice before throwing away butts on the street.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} as she has got more and more supporters in the city.

    My name is Bob. I am 16 years old now. I've felt lonely since I was 9. I didn't like my classmates, my parents or anyone else. My classmates didn't want to talk with me and my parents were always saying that other kids were better than me. One day I had a big fight with one of my classmates. I was so angry that I hit him on the face. Just at that moment, a boy stood up and stopped the fight. He was the monitor of our class.

    After that, he often helped me and we became good friends. Whenever I got angry or sad, he would help me to cool down. We spent a lot of interesting days together and became best friends.
