Everybody knows that the United Kingdom consists {#blank#}1{#/blank#} four countries: English, Scotland, Wales plus Northern Ireland. However, about four hundred years ago Scotland tried to break away from English {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(influent). The Scots wanted to attack England and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(decide) that France should take the place of England {#blank#}4{#/blank#} their closest friend. England,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} was unhappy when the relationship between the two countries broke down. Queen Elizabeth I did not want to be left out of any decisions {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(do) with Scotland, so she divided the Scottish lords into several groups so that they would argue with each other instead of {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(attack) England. This {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(arrange) worked well until 1603 {#blank#}9{#/blank#} Queen Elizabeth died. As King James of Scotland was her only relative, he became King of Scotland and England, and everybody was {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(delight) with the solution.

    The Great Wall was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. Just like a dragon, it winds up and down across deserts, grasslands and mountains, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (run) approximately 21, 196 kilometers from east to west.

    The {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (construct) of the Great Wall was not that easy, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} drew heavily on the local resources for building materials. The walls were {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (origin) built in the Spring & Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Emperor Qin Shi Huang succeeded in his effort to have them joined together. Since then, the Great Wall {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (serve) as a monument of the Chinese nation throughout history.

    With {#blank#}6{#/blank#} history of about 2, 700 years, some parts of the Great Wall are now {#blank#}7{#/blank#} ruins or have disappeared. However, the Great Wall of China is still one of the most appealing {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (attraction) all around the world owing to its historical significance. The best-known part of the Great Wall of China, Badaling, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (locate) 43 miles northwest of Beijing, attracts thousands of national and foreign tourists every day.

    Today, the Great Wall {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (recognize) as one of the most important impressive architectural achievements in history.

In only two years, Sharma has produced nearly 100 videos for his web page on YouTube. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}From the thick forests in Meghalaya( a state in northeastern India), to the purple mountains in Tamil Nadu(a state in southeastern India), where he recorded the rare blossoming of the Kurinji flowers,—a phenomenon that happens once every 12 years—Sharma has shown a side if India that many people may never have known existed. Not even himself.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#}He vividly remembers riding through the south of India on his motorcycle, exploring tree-lined streets in Pondicherry's French district, and being struck by the beauty of the peaceful hill station Munnar.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#}However, Sharma knows there is no end to his exploration in India. He is so enthusiastic about sharing the lesser-seen side of his homeland, in new and better ways, that he has been known to open his laptop and work even on mountaintops. "{#blank#}5{#/blank#}And I've never stopped," he says. "The driving force for me is to keep learning."
