    I am writing tell you about the discussion we've had about whether it is necessary of middle school students to have mobile phones. Most students think this is more convenient for them to keep in the touch with their parents and classmates. And what's much, it's a fashion. However, most teachers think middle school students are not old enough to control them. It is a waste of time for students to play games and sending messages on their mobile phones. Therefore, it is easy to make students contact with each other. In my opinion, following the fashion was understandable. But as middle school student, we should put all our energy into our study.

    Challenges of life remind me of my days in senior high school which I joined in the military training. It was the first time I have lived far away from my home, so I found difficult to fit in. And the trained officer was strict with me. I once think I could not stick to the end. And anyway, I succeeded.     Last weekend, there was art festival in our school. Our headmaster plan to make it a feature of our school. I was so excited, for it was the first time for me to join in it.

    I'd like to introduce Sarah to you. She is a good friend of me. Actually she is an exchange student from Ireland, which has been studying in my school for two month. Wanting to take an advantage of her short time here, Sarah works hardly. She had not studied Chinese before arriving here, but she has some difficulty communicating with people. She woke up early every morning to study a bit before class. I admire her independence for doing all of this while live so far away from her family. Besides, Sarah is in great help.
