    One year ago, I had a special English lesson hold at the railway station. It was quite different from the regular English classes we were familiar to, for we had no textbooks, no blackboard and no fixed seats.

    Gathered at the entrance of the station, we told to collect as many English words and sentence as possible there. Curious and excited, we walked around the station and looked everywhere, search for any information in English. Whenever an English word comes into sight, the class would burst into the cheers as if we had discovered a new world. With the Chinese translation and vividly pictures, we could figure out its meaning with ease.

    Now, this unforgettable lesson still encourages me to be an active learner where I go.

    One day, I got up late. While I was busy gather my books, Father came in with a glass of milk in his hand for me to drink. Father turned around and went back to the kitchen in a hurry without an apology. I was very angry with Father. When I went to a kitchen to get my breakfast, I was astonished at which I saw. Father was cooling the milk by pouring it from one glass to another again and again, with tears in my eyes, I feel very sorry.

    After visited the Beijing Normal School, Madame Peng took Sasha and Malia, my mother, and I to the Forbidden City. It is located right the heart of Beijing. As a name suggests, it is large enough to be a city of its own, which include nearly 1,000 buildings and nearly 10,000 rooms. In 1925, it was turning into a museum so that visitors like us from all over the world can stroll through many of the beautiful room and outdoor space. It is far too larger to fully experience in a single visit.
