    As is known by all, with the improvement of people's living standards, cars have become a popular means of transport,bring great convenience to our life. However, they have also caused someproblems such as air pollution and traffic jam.

    How can we solve these problems then? As far as I am concerning, riding bicycles is a good solution. For one thing, bicycles don't need any petrol but they are energy-saving. For another, bicycles are environmentally friendly because of they won't give off waste gas. Beside, riding bicycles is a good way for us to exercise and it is beneficial to our healthy.

    When people use words and expressions different with the “standard language”, it is called an dialect. American English has many dialects. Even some parts of the USA, two people from neighboring towns speak a little different. American English has so much dialects because people have come from all over the world. Geography also plays a part in make dialects. Some people which live in the mountains of the eastern USA speak with an older kind of English dialects. When Americans move from one place to another, they took their dialects with them. Although many Americans move a lot of, they still recognize and understand each other's dialects.

    While sit in the dentist's waiting room yesterday, I saw another patients come out from an appointment. It seems that she was unable to balance. I stood up and reached out my arm to help him. She called someone pick her up. I stayed and talked about her until the dentist was called me in. Sometime I fall into the trap of thinking I need to do something bigger to lead a meaningful life. However, it's the little things which matter.

    I live in a city and frequently notice the trash throwing randomly on the sides of the roads. Every time I take my dog for a walk and go outside for something else, I am happy that to pick up at least one piece of trash. Although it seems that this small act won't make a differ, it truly makes me feel good about me for helping out. If we all do this small thing just one a day, we'll be taking part helping the planet.
