    We took a 20 - kilometer hike last Friday. Early in the morning, we get together and set out on foot. We all carried backpacks with water and food. Some of us became out of the breath and some fell behind, but we encouraged each other to keep going. Suddenly one of my classmate fell down.     On December 10^th last year, we paid a visit of a high-tech agricultural garden. It took us one and a half hour to get there.     I am used to be a naughty boy, who always made my parents annoyed from time to time. One day, as I was wandering around the field near my house, a cricket attracts my attention and I couldn't help catch it. I was noticed doing all this by Nick, a friend of mine, and he said to me, “Let's put the cricket on Selina's desk to frighten her, all right?”Of course I said yes, and I, together with him, were going to do just as what we had discussed. A few minutes before our trick, Selina saw it and was so frightened that she fell off the chair and broke his head, Afterwards, criticizing by my parents, I was made apologize to her. This lesson taught me a lot, warning me not to play a trick at other people. Since then, I have done things much well than before and become a man with manners and dignity.

    Yesterday, I read article about the Hongkong Zhuhai macao Bridge, the longer sea-crossing bridge in the world. It is55 kilometers long, which lifespan(使用寿命) is set at120 years. And it can stand heavy storm and earthquakes. What's more, the travel time among Hongkong and Zhuhai is cut from 3 hours to just 30 minutes.

    After reading the article, I feel wildly excited. In my opinion, drive a car on the bridge was an enjoyable experience. Besides, my dad didn't agree with me, because she was not skillful at switching (切换 ) freely between Chinese driving and English driving. Though I can understand him now, but I do hope someday we can drive on the bridge.

    As a senior three student, it won't take long after I graduate. Now, I have many to share with my fellow students.

    I'm glad that you will compete in the final of the Chinese Speech Contest. Congratulation to you! Here are my advice on how to make good preparations for your speech.

    First, pick a interesting topic so that the audience won't get boring. Second, do broad researches on the topic to satisfy the audience's hunger for knowledge. Then write your speech and turn to your Chinese teachers for help, which advice will be beneficial. Besides, much attention should be paying to your voice or body language. Try to speak as fluent as possible. In a word, you'd better do whatever you can win the contest.
