    There was an art festival in our school last weekend. It had been held for five years and our headmaster plan to make it a feature of our school. I was so excited, for it was first time for me to join in.

    Early in the morning, there were such many people coming to our school, made it so lively. The students gave a warm welcome to the guest. I walked around or appreciated the paintings. All the works were from the students and I was so impressing by them. There were also some handcrafts, that were so creative. Though we were busy with our study most of the time, but some students still managed to develop their hobbies. I should learn to them and develop a hobby as well.

    Cherry, whom is about 5 or 6 years old, is my favorite pet. About three years before, Cherry showed up at our house.     This summer, I attended a journalism-themed summer camp, where I learn a lot.

    I was deeply impressed by the interviews carrying out in the streets. In the beginning, I wasn't used to talk to strangers. But under the help of my teammates, I was able to communicate smooth with them. Then we were noticed most of the answers that we got were brief. Before we discussed the problem, my teammates and I realized that it was because the questions weren't open-ended enough. So we changed their questions and our interviewees were more willing to share with us their ideas in end.

    From this experience, I've gained several skill for interviewing people as a journalist.

    Last Sunday, while eat in a restaurant, I noticed a bowl full of dumplings on the table next to mine. They must have left by someone. Just then, an old man came in. Judging from her clothes, I believed he were poor. He saw the dumplings left on the table. Being shyly, he sat down and started eating. The others around look at him, puzzled, but some even laughed at him. Therefore, after finishing the dumplings, he went up to the donation box on the counter, put one hundred yuan in it and left, leaving us all shocked and ashamed about.

    We shouldn't judge a person just from his or her appearance. A person which has a loving heart is the richest in the world.

    As teenagers, we should attach great important to reading. Reading can benefit from us teenagers a great deal. Firstly, reading improves our school grades.     It is strongly suggested that our spare time is made full use of read as much as possible. We teenagers should stay devoted to read what we are interested in.     I'm glad to hear that you are considering make up with Peter. If I am you, I would consider a bike as a birthday present for him.

    As far as I know, Peter is always in poor health, so he should take more exercises by riding a bike to have his body build up. In the meanwhile, you can often go out by bike together, which is helpfully in rebuilding your friendship. Besides, taking a bike is environmentally friendly means of transport. It is convenient to get around as well. Apart from giving him a gift, and you can also adopt other means, such as traveling, seeing a movie, having dinner and going shopping.
