   The following informations is about the American school system. Secondary school in the US usual covers seven years, grades six to twelve. Ninth to twelfth grades were high school. In the end of twelfth grade, American students receive the high school diploma. Students need a high school diploma if they want to go to a college. The school year is dividing into two semesters, the first of that is September through December; and the second January through May. Students start school at 7:50 am. or finish at 3 pm. They can also take part all kind of activities.

   Andy is part of an android football team. He is able to run very quick. He has learned to signal to her teammates in computer language.     Last Sunday, I accompanied two of my foreign friends, Tom or Mary, around Chengdu so that they could get a feeling of the amazed city. We began by touring Kuan Zhai Alley, that is known for its traditional Chinese architecture. I know the area very good so I acted as their tour guide. For lunch, I tried some Chengdu fried sauce noodles. Tom thought that they were in particularly delicious. Soon before lunch, we went to the Research Base of Giant Panda to pay a visit to the pandas. Both Mary and Tom fall in love with the lovely pandas. We finished off the day by going shopping, and they bought some paper cuts as souvenir. It was fantastic day and I hope they will come to Chengdu again.

    On the hot afternoon of last Saturday, Li Yue went downtown and walk from one store to another, look for the clothes we would wear in the singing contest. Deeply moving by what she did, we tried our best but won the first prize in the contest. Li Yue is always cares about the class. She often devotes her spare time in helping others. She has set good example to us. Therefore, she deserves the honor and we should learn from him.

    It was a rain and cold night. I finish my evening classes and was about to go back to my house I got into a taxi and told the driver my destination. To my surprise, the driver made an apology, says he didn't know the way. What come a taxi driver didn't know the way? I was a little of angry. At the moment, an old couple stopped our car. Their destination was the same as me, so he let them in. The two greeted us but the grandpa told the driver the way. From their conversation I knew the driver was a fanner and he had become a taxi driver just for three days.

    I'm also new to Chengdu. Sometimes I make direction mistakes, but there is always someone can help me. It was cold outside, but I felt real warm.

    My father, who had been away on a business trip, would come back. I missed him too much that I couldn't wait to seeing him at once. My father's trains would arrive at 5:30. To my surprised, Father gave me the call at 5: 00. He told me not to meet him at the train station because the heavy rain. Therefore, I didn't listen to him. Though it was raining cats and dogs, but I went to the train station. The moment we caught sight of each other, all of us were very excited and I hug my father warmly and tightly.
