    Last weekend, our class went hiking. Early in the morning, we gathered at People's Square in the city center and then head for the South Mountain, which was 8 kilometers away. Our goal was to climbing to the top, from which we could enjoy a good view.

    It was an exhausted hike and the heats consumed all our energy. Therefore, when we finally reached to our destination, the view took our breath away. It was well wroth walking such long distance. Because I not only got relaxed by enjoying the beauty of nature but also learned the truth which our efforts will always pay off in the end.

    I'm a huge book-lover but like sharing my love for books! So I've been bought books constantly. Finishing reading one book, I placed it in or around my school so that some of my schoolmate can enjoy themselves when reading it. I especial like placing it on a stone table in the little garden in that students might have time to take a rest. I was delighted an other day when I saw a card left on the table to say thanks. And from the card, I knew my book turned out of to be a birthday gift for a strange girl. It was so lovely find out that my book could bring anyone pleasure!

    As the saying goes, many little drop of water make an ocean. A small action may lead to major changes took place in society. My friends and I had participated in a voluntary activity at a nursing home last week. We first did some cleaning or washing. After that we spent half an hour chatted with the old people living there. Though it was a tired day, we were happy with that we did. I felt a sense of responsibility by visiting the old. If all of us lend a helping hand to the people in need, they can live in harmony with each other. A society is just as a family. If we are willing to help others, our small actions can make big difference.

    Have you ever had headache during a test? Have you ever been too concerned about something that you even can't sleep at night? If so，then you know that stress is. Too much stress can result in anger，depression and other related problems, which we need to take them seriously.

    Therefore，not all stress was harmful to you. Some kinds of stress can help you get things do better，like when you are running towards the finishing line or when you are asked to deliver speech to your class. Stress sometimes can help push you to make full preparations for a test.

    The best approach of reducing stress is to have a balance life. If you get enough sleep，eat properly，take more exercise and have enough fun time，you might feel more stressed.

    Once there was an old woman. She had a lot of money. She was kind and generously. She always did something help the poor. At Christmas, she handed out food, that was made by herself, to the poor. She handed out a turkey leg but a potato to every homeless person he saw. The homeless people love her very much. One homeless men took out a penny that he wanted to give to her as for a gift. She felt good. She was determined to doing more, so she gave $ 50 with every homeless person she saw.
