As an archaeology student, I have already knew something about the Qin Tomb and the terracotta warriors. Most Chinese children can tell you Qin Shihuang was theemperor first unified China. He was a brilliant ruler, and he was also a cruel man who killed thousands of people. When he became the king of the state, he immediately ordered workers to construct an underground tomb for him, which is said to contain great treasures. But, the actual entrance to the tomb has everbeen found, nor has the tomb been opened. There are ancient descriptions of cross bows hiding at the tomb's entrance. It's said that if everyone steps across the entrance, the cross bows will fire.

    As summer vacation are coming soon, my classmates are trying very hardly to get train tickets to go home. But I have made up my minds to spend the vacation far from home for first time in my life. My parents have agreed to visiting me, and I will have a different vacation. When they came here, I will show them around my university and the city just as well. I have decided to buy me some nice gifts. It will be a big surprising for them.     Last week, our teacher offered us an answer to a difficulty maths problem in class. Though an answer seemed a little strange, but nobody doubted it except me. Thinking that his answer might wrong, I carefully studied the problem and tried to work them out in a different way. Half an hour late, I managed to find the correct answer. When I show my answer to him, my teacher praised me of my independent thinking.

    From this experiences I have learnt that questioning can serve as a bridge that help us to find the truth.

    It was Monday morning, and the writing class had just begin. Everyone was silent, wait to see who would be called upon to read his and her paragraph aloud. Some of us were confident and eager take part in the class activity, others were nervous and anxious. I had done myself homework but I was shy. I was afraid that to speak in front of a larger group of people. At that moment, I remembered that my father once said, "The classroom is a place for learning and that include learning from textbooks, and mistake as well." Immediate, I raised my hand.

    One of my happiest childhood memory was having dinner with my parents and two sisters. As a result, last year I decided that the whole family would have dinner together three days a week because we find that we seldom had a chance to get together as a family. We thought it would be possible for everyone set aside three evenings a week for a sit-down dinner. First we tried setting three fixed day for our experiment­Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays. After a couple of weeks of try this plan, almost everyone was unhappy. For a while, the kids began to resist the idea. They say they would rather to spend the time with their friends or take part in some activities. Gradual, though, they began to see these evenings together for a very different way. We laughed a lot and we discussed about each other's problems. Since a few months, we all felt we had been able to build much stronger relationship with the family than we had before.
