    Everyone strongly wants to be a success. What is important for success? Most people think that confidence, hard work and enemies are main factors(因素) leading to success. Ronaldo said he believed he was a better player than Messi in an interview published in Spanish sports paper on Sunday.

    Talking about his achievements of his career, Ronaldo showed pride. Ronaldo was also asked about Messi, who was seen as his biggest enemy to be considered the best player in the world. “Whether you are No. 1 or not is not so important. Although some people may think Messi to be the best,I think that I am.” Ronaldo said that boos(喝倒彩的嘘声) didn't make him sad, but encouraged him to practice harder.

    Ronaldo insisted that hard work was important to be a top player, though at times he felt a great pain for his training, saying a body “was not used” to training hard and playing twice a week. But no pain, no gain. He said he had changed his life to make sure he was in top condition, saying that when in the past he usually went out to relax, but now he “goes home to rest for tomorrow.”

    “Football is my life. It's what I love most.” he explained.

(1)、What do most people think are main factors leading to success?
(2)、Who was considered the best player in the world except Ronaldo?
(3)、What did Ronaldo use to do after a hard training?
(4)、How did boos influence Ronaldo?
(5)、Why does Ronaldo say football is his life?

    Tan Xiaodong, 15, Hong Kong, China

    “It'll soon be Chinese New Year. Before it, we'll clean the house and decorate it for good luck. Every shop is going to close for a few days and we'll go out a lot to celebrate in the streets. We might go and see the lion and dragon dances in the city center. I love this festival.”

    Wendy, 16, Sydney, Australia

    “Australia Day is on 26th January and it's an important holiday here. We always have a Monday off, so we celebrate for three days. My parents and I go to the countryside for a picnic and friends always come over. Many people go to beach parties or street parties and there's lots of music and dancing. What fun!”

    Amy, 14, New York, USA

    “The first Thanksgiving Day was hundreds of years ago when Europeans who came to America thanked God for his help. It's still a very important day for families to be together.     Body language is one of the most powerful means of communication.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} People around the world show all kinds of feelings, wishes and attitudes that they might never speak aloud. The most universal facial expression is the smile. People usually smile to show happiness and make people feel comfortable. But sometimes it does not always mean that we are truly happy, however. From the time we are babies, we show unhappiness or anger by frowning.{#blank#}3{#/blank#} Making a fist and shaking it almost always means that someone is angry and threatening another person.

    There are many ways around the world to a show agreement, but nodding the head up and down is used for agreement almost worldwide{#blank#}4{#/blank#}

    Being respectful to people is based on each culture, but in general it is probably not a good idea to give a hug to a boss or teacher. In almost every culture, it is not usually good to stand too close to someone of a higher position.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}

    With so many cultural differences between people, it is great to have some similarities in body language. We can often be wrong about each other, so it is an amazing thing that we understand each other as well as we do!
